Hi Everyone! This is a bit of an in-between vlog whilst I work on various projects. I'd love to know if you'd like to see more videos about the behind the scenes. I can cover topics like photo techniques, editing, how I manage my wildlife photo job. Happy to take any suggestions! Of course I can also make casual Sweden videos too :)
You post, we watch - it's as simple as that! We've got our own set of eyes to watch the world through, but there is nothing wrong with a peek through your eyes or your lenses. Dani. I do admit though, that a "foreigners" look at Sweden is always an eye-opener.
As a former food photographer in the bay area in California, I understand exactly all the work that goes on behind the scenes. Most people would not understand or be willing to put in the tedious work. Your superb videos and stills are proof of your hard work from this fellow photographer. Great work and keep it up, Dani.

These inbetween vids are cool, for me there doesn't have to be any specific topics, but I get it if people would like to see some more in depht topics. I just like the random stuff, probably the animal feeder camera footage is my favorite, like that one squirrel was taking the nuts and then was like nah I'll just leave the sunflower seeds for the birds. That one squirrel had an amazing colorway; vibrant red and an almost white belly, just lovely!
I have been visiting your site for a long time and you have certainly gotten more and more sophisticated which has been fun for me to watch. I am glad your little orphan squire seems to have made a good life for itself and it certainly was a great experience for you. Look forward to your next posting.
You're an interesting person, I enjoyed this, thank you. I adore squirrels, they're in my top 5 most amazing creatures God ever created. Once a squirrel gets in your home & has an opportunity to love you... 9 out of 10 X they'll choose you over freedom & the wild. They are pure joy, capable of deep love & affection. & last, even the adults maintain that precious baby face. I can't take my eyes off them.🤗These lil red ones, just melt me! Their lil ear tufts, blowing in the wind, are you kidding me! The way they hold their lil hands, on those lil chubby tummies! What a gift to humanity! Please keep doing this. Every person on this planet needs a few moments of this in their lives regularly, just to remain human...
Hey Dani, when you mentioned a squirrel book, it reminded me of one in my memories. It's called Miss Suzy, written by Miriam Young and illustrated by Arnold Lobel. I still remember that squirrel on the cover from my early childhood. Check it out when you have time.
Interesting look behind the scenes and I would be interested to learn how you create little movies every time, so how selecting background music that complements your pictures and stories so well✨ Can't be at random, rather very beautiful, like a perfectly stained frame wrapping the story within with charme💚

Love your wildlife photography. It should be your primary focus. Remember, mitochondrial DNA is the most general genealogical research and can be misleading, depending on the importance you give it. I love every kind of video you make. I love decorating with all kinds of frames and canvas. I have some to go with each season and others that I leave all the time. I love prints but it's always hard to find the perfect frame to go with them.
As usual, top draw Dani, your focus, your production, and your varied output. Bravo to both of you, a grand combined vision in progress. I laughed seeing a squirrel stealing away a walnut. Here I have 4 Walnut trees and Rats! every walnut has to be picked up, otherwise, storage and late-night scutterings are on the embargo list. My neighbor's Cheraleigh cattle compete even, "Robin, get out of the way, nudge? All in good fun, I just sing and chant Sami Yoike. Would, finally like to go to Svalbard, Had many books on it, and in the 70's, looked promising, in the mid-northwest was where I wanted to go, a felt hut. Interestingly enough, loads of wood there from Rivers such as the OB, YENISAY, and The LENA, each delivering 600 cubic kilometers of water each.................... Robin............

I'm down the other end of Sweden and it feels like everything's come to life early, this year. The trees definitely turned green earlier than in the 4-5 years previously (I've been out here since 2018). The mosquitos are also several weeks early too.

Funny that little red squirrel cleaned up that feeder of nuts in shell, and came back for more, and looking at the camera saying with those eyes, "Hey where are the other nuts ??" Great video... Meeting the person is just as important... Yes to crown funding. You obviously have an audience... and I would wager you would have the support... You have already written Rou's story. Just listen to your dialogue of the series. There is your children's book... And it has a happy ending... Perfect... Mom and Dad already know the story...
Definately agree that the Rou story is written already. What a nice adventure. 55 and just love this children's tale. It is both a child and adult tale! If you were to do such a book, both child and parent would enjoy. It was told with such caring for Rou, how could one not love the story. Now to put it all together!
