The front wheel bearing is not in far enough. Check how loose the inner spacer is, it should be touching both inner races of the bearings. If you tighten the spindle it will ruin the bearings. You need to use a hard hammer to install the bearings. Fit a new tyre valve, the old one will leak.
I’m sure someone has said it already, but when sweating the bearings in, you have to heat up the wheel. You can use a heat gun. Freeze the bearings and heat the hole they’re going in.
Whenever you touch the exausht/intake system as in "modding" please do tune or get a tuneable ECU to make the bike live healthy and prevent any future hiccup.
Motorcycles the ones that you have put together more the Italian bike and decati a work of art to appreciate and admire watching you the restorer mechanic electric knowledge etc all on film joyful work smiles aplenty a joy to watch can only be inspired to give my best ❤on a daily basis for The faith blessings 😊.
I was going to buy the Yoshimura air box for my R7 but they recommend a crazy cleaning interval of 7 hours of ride time. I dont see how you could easily clean it without removing the whole box, and that is just not something I am willing to do every other weekend. It does give the bike some good gains with a proper tune. I just wish there was an easy way to clean the filter material. If anyone knows of an easy method, please share. @CJ Great job on the bikes and your videos. I love watching your builds. Especially this one since I do have an R7. Thanks brother, keep it up!
That Yoshimura Racing Air Box will give the bike a great look and a lot more breathing power, but make sure you keep an eye on that filter element because it is not meant for street riding. You need to clean or replace the filter element more frequently, such as, after every race or track day. Enjoy and great video as always. Love the new tools.
I haven’t seen anyone answer your question about the throttle being half open in the UK. It stems from EU regulations about how old certain people must be to ride big bikes. If you’re 18 you can only ride 125cc till you’re 20 then you can ride any bike with a power to weight ratio of 0.2Kw/Kg or 48hp. To ride an R7 from age 20-24 they then restrict the throttlebody opening.
Some channels talk through the entire video, you don't. I prefer it that way. My engineer friends always had a motto, K.I.S.S., which means Keep It Simple Stupid. That ideal seems to have been lost to many in modern times. Thanks for keeping it simple.
Considering that the original axle was bent, I really would not trust those bearings. Bearings are relatively delicate, and the force needed to bend an axle wouldn't be good to them... plus bearings are a consumable item anyway, they really should have been replaced with a new set.
@@GeorgeOrlandson Dang, re-watched the video, and lord and behold, CJ is pulling out some frozen bearing out of the freezer. I am going to blame it on not drinking enough coffee that day. LOL!
Do these builds end up costing more than the bike value? If so, is it just a passion of yours ? Thanks and always love to see a beautiful machine returned to its former glory!
Hi CJ, pretty cool Yoshomura air box. I wonder if you´re going to improve the exhaust also. Let us know whether it will require a new mapping due to better air flow. As per throtle slack, as far as I know it is about how fast the answer will be. Higher advanced riders muight like a quite responsive throtle and then you should work on that slack. But maybe other more expert people have another saying. Cheers mate, it´s been long!
Great looking balancer but, risky reusing crashed front bearings but have to say your seal is damaged and inner seal spring not seated properly. Putting that beautiful new front wheel at risk of locking up.
Looking at the old rim, are you sure that you want to use the old bearings? They're not that expensive and looking by the crash damage I wouldn't trust those anymore. Also I allway's thought that the dot on the tire was the heaviest part that needs to sit opposite from the valve stem, but I've never changed a tire myself so what do I know. Entertaining video though, keep up the good work.
The Lord forgives his flock that use a yellow hammer on seals to make them flush and using flat bladed screwdrivers on lower fork braces. Lord, hear our prayers.
Amotopart fairings! I don’t make money off of selling their products they are just that good! I have a discount code in the desc for you if you’d like!

>brand new front axle because it’s bent
>re-using front wheel bearings from the same hub.

Nice work ❤️from. Algéria 🇩🇿
Handy tyre changer you have, excellent for what you do and saving you plenty of money doing it yourself
After 24 hours of work here I am checking out this exceptional work. Thank you! See you soon!
That new rabaconda wheels balancer was awesome...
I hope you oiled the beatiful filter of the airbox🔥🔥
No he didn't, I don't wanna say he doesn't know why but...he didn't.
CJ, this video IS Superb!! A summer gift for us!! I LOVE It!!
After a long time most awaited video 😮
Use the stock axle with jack stands on a level surface and take your time. Works great. No extra tools needed

Thank you, I appreciate the comment on the filter as i was curious on how often a cleaning/change would be needed. Cheers
Can’t believe you fitted the old bearings!!!! Absolute tool!
Nice work as always bro waiting for next one
Coming soon! Thanks bro

Also, place the bearing in the freezer to shrink them down a little for an easier fit.

Finally a new video! About time.
Agreed 😂
So nice
Welcome back cj hhh
Did you put used bearing to new wheel? If yes, replace it, because while removing them you could damage them. Just saying.
That wasnt a good idea or the secondhand tyre valve

Toprak Razgatlioglu...did I say it right..?
Hey ginge you can buy exactly the same wheel balancer made by a different company for under £40, hardly a bespoke design by Rabaconda 😂
Quick question.. do you know what is that humming noise on the bmw s1000rr when you turn the ignition key on ? @cj media
The Lord forgives his flock that use a yellow hammer on seals to make them flush and using flat bladed screwdrivers on lower fork braces. Lord, hear our prayers.
That front wheel bearing installation just made me question if this is CJ .
No oil on inside of that air filter system? I'd be nervous about dust & fine particulate getting in.
Bro mv😢 ?you left us in the wilderness 😅
What the color code for the steel gray on the CBR ? Hello from Sweden
Hey it’s possible to buy from you that triple tree that you won’t use?
old one looks better then new one air filter
Functionality > looks my friend!
Invest In a bench press to install those wheel bearings.
Excellent idea
What adhesive did you use for the weights on balancing the wheel?
The wheel weights came with a sticky side that just attaches to the wheel 😁
@@CJMediaOfficial thanks and blessed you always
Please bro work on your mv Agusta 🙏
why didnt you go with the dna stage 2 kit ?
