CJ. Love the channel and the builds but have say the finish on the panels is horrendous, orange peel is really bad. Should send them back and ask for them to be finished properly.
You know what; you’re probably right the bottom tripple is most likely shot. I’ve never had a bent lower tripple before so I was almost doubting that it could even be bent. I checked over it looking for cracks and couldn’t see anything but the measurements don’t lie. Thank you!
Hey CJ, had a similar issue with the lower triple on my rebuilt CBR500R plus a slightly bent frame. The stem is, as some have said, most likely bent, but to rule out the possibility of a bent frame aside from the stem, measure the axle distance between both wheels and check with the original measurements. Best of luck!
The R6 throttle tube reduces the throw by quite bit from the R7s. If you hold them next to each other you’ll see the R6 tube diameter is smaller. While you’ve got it apart, I’d remove the snorkel on the air box and get a 2WDW ECU flash. Picks up good power, better quick shifter mapping, less engine braking etc. Definitely worth it!
The light resistors are usually only needed when you are upgrading a halogen-equipped bike with LEDs -- your machines tend to be more modern, so come with low resistance LEDs from the factory.
that paint scheme is beautiful and goes very well with the blacked out tail light. you usually only need resistors to replace incandescent bulbs with led. newer vehicles dont have a problem being replaced by leds, especially when the factory lighting was led
The bottom yoke is bent. Try fitting the standard top yoke to see if the forks align correctly. If still not correct, replace bottom yoke. When fitting front wheel bearings, on one side the bearing goes in fully and hits the “stop” then the spacer goes in, then the other side bearing goes in an just butts up against to spacer so not fully in at the “stop” then fit the seals and external spacers then fit to the bike. The front spindle installed, the discs should be the same measurement to the inner side of the fork on both sides allowing the calipers to fit (pistons pushed in) the discs should fit centrally inside the calipers (equal gap to each side of the opening). Aftermarket panels never fit correctly, you would be far better using painted genuine panels.
Your alignment issues are most likely a bent lower triple tree, twisted a few degrees from toward the engine from the crash. Also some pieces of the new bodywork looks to have heavy orange peel. There should be a resistor for each side to slow down the blink rate.
If the original tail light is a bulb, i would keep the resistor. It may work now, but it can malfunction in the future or burn the LEDs out. They require very little amperage compared to a bulb.
Hey, i really like to see how you put all these bike togetter! But why are you working on the floor? There are so many fine solution for mobile workbenches. look more pro! Here in the Europian anyway.
My Dude!! Love your videos. One thing I don't like is that you move the camera too much when you show your face. Can you pls set it on a tripod or somewhere stable to make it a still frame when you show your face and narrate the process etc. Just my preference though. Almost didn't sub cause of that. 5:39
youtube's weird brooo, i completely forgot your channel's name and been seaching for like 1 month and finally found you again, thank god.
No doubt you smashed the subscribe button..and the bell for notifications... this channel is addictive I tell yah ...
@erickomondi007 I've subscribed to him for years, that's the weird thing about it, no notifications at all from RUclips..
CJ. Love the channel and the builds but have say the finish on the panels is horrendous, orange peel is really bad. Should send them back and ask for them to be finished properly.
The color is amazing, but it looks like they've literally skipped the sanding and polishing finishing process...

China #1!
For the price point what do you expect, paint cost and labor isn't cheap.
But that's because they're not original Yamaha.
@@000reizer7panels sure don’t have quality of factory made ones
MV Agusta Nurburgring ❤❤❤❤❤😅
Hey CJ love from India 🇮🇳
Hey man! 🇮🇳
Love it when someone takes criticism positively... I mean the front bearing, the crashed ones really had to go. Nice vids as always.
Thanks Erick! I’m not perfect so I appreciate yall letting me know the proper way things should be done! I’m all for learning
Great content. Check if the holes of the new top yoke line up perfectly with the holes of the old one. Otherwise bottom yoke might be bent

Either forks are bent or your lower triple clamp is bent maybe both. Hopefully not the frame.
Love from India love you brother.... may the lord bless you abundantly

Very cool to know James, thanks !
You trouble shot the electrical problem like an old seasoned veteran. You made it look so easy.
Lots of love from India🇮🇳
I arrived home from work and ran to see the excellent work.
Shout-out cj I'm from Philippines 😊 love watching you videos 👍🔥
Excellent work and I really like the color! I hope you’ve figured out why the front end doesn’t easily align up.
Thank you sir😁

Thanks for your supporting!!!!

Way to go man! Those are so sweet bikes you’ve rebuilt
Redline in 6th is a good way to assess the front end.

My dream I hope to achieve someday

Good work as usual, but the clear coat on fairings îs preaty bad.
Where is MV...?

This Taillight looks Fishy, even for Murican standards.
nice dud
Great color choice. Any news on the Transit Van?
Yoh bro,,,you are taking long to post check on that 😊
what happened to the brutale bro?
he mentioned in the last video of the brutale series that its super hard to find parts. so that’ll be the reason why a new episode takes so long
❤
I’m going to buy my first salvage bike at a insurance auction. Don’t know if I should go with mt07 or r7!
🎉
Somethings is very bent with your forks.
Uoo cJ warts going on I have not seen you on for a while now warts up
Hi my bro it was u in the Mv dealer with my bro Dylan...
Did you replace the lower tripple? they always bend in a front end accident. Might explain the difficulty with the top tripple.
You really need a Workbench... Honestly
I guess Brutale 1000 project will be completed 2025
Ahhh,, here we go again..
Also I know u making it custom as such but thought u may get anniversary white and speed block red fairing and gold wheels 😟
You have a very interesting meter, what model is it and where can i get one from?
Have you checked the frame

i think that fork its gone...
🤙🤘🏼
build from the bottom channel was end.now you are the same uploaded videos very lately 😊
First view😊
Wouldn't mind seeing you paint a bike Zephyr Blue with black accents. I had a bike like that and it was the most amazing color combo I've seen.
