Hey yo Chris check it out "I can speak from personal experience in regards to swans they're not an animal to be trifled with if you're in the water, that being said a Swan on land to me it's laughable & absolutely 100% not a threat ! That being said ' I'm speaking from a personal experience I had when I was 28 years old & I happened to be in the the best shape of my life when this incident took place..."I was training for Spartan race & department training was swimming with the only body of water the swimming was an Old Farmer's field that was flooded and made into a shallow lake that's only '6-to-8 ft deep but it was very close to a mile from one side to the other side & the way the lake was there was no way to walk so I was committed and I had to swim back it's the first time that I tried doing this meaning swimming as a part of my training by the way the entire lake was the whole lake was nothing but the thickest weeds Weeds out ever seen in my entire life ! Which made swimming way more difficult ! So now I'm half way back & now I'm in the middle of the lake ,& I started getting cramps but I wasn't really worried about it because I could always jus do the Dead Man's float or just bounced up & down off the bottom because it was only six feet deep "but then I noticed it barreling strait for me & when I saw all the babies in tow 'I said to myself this isn't going to be good but I had no idea what I was in for ! First off theF-ing thing was enormous & its head was darting back & fourth & extremely extremely aggressive this bird had to have weighed around I'm guessing probably 50 plus lb & its neck was 2 feet long bro it was freaking huge enormous with a bunch of babies with it and it was f****** pissed and I did nothing to make it mad you know it just took me as a threat and & and it attacked me and it wouldn't let up never mind the fact that I was tired and had cramps when you're in water you can't defend yourself properly absolutely like night and day comparing a swan attack on land compared to a swan attack in the water ! I guess it's all in the details because I'm there was a lot of details that made me vulnerable in the fact that the swan had babies made it super aggressive dude it came towards me from about 60 ft away from me initially when I first saw it could have gone the other way but instead of doing that it came at me as fast as possible! If I wasn't in phenomenal shape it could have possibly killed me along with all the other things that we're going on nln seeing this I should have never attempted to swim across that lake it was the first time I ever tried so you got to understand all these things and the in the weeds with thicker than seaweed in a notion it was sick
Also Chris in the news article was the swan attack on land or in the water because I'd be willing to bet that it was in the water and not on land... Lol And also it wouldn't be the swan packing you to death Chris " and I'm not trying to be disrespectful it would more in my opinion be like the swan aggressively pursuing you and making it hard for you to swim and to keep your head above water because if your hands are up to finding from the bird pecking you in the face right then you only have your feet so you're using your hands and your feet you going to get fatigued and from my experience this one did not give up so eventually I could see how that would lead to someone's swallowing water and & drowning...
