- #Texaschainsawmassacre The search continues in Muerto County for a missing University of Texas student. The Sheriff’s department says that Maria Flores, a native of Uvalde, was last seen near the town of Newt more than two months ago. Her vehicle was recently discovered abandoned along Country Road 172, with officials reporting no signs of foul play. Authorities are hopeful that the expanded search into the nearby communities of Harlow and Chinatown will unearth new leads. Family and friends are urging anyone with information regarding her disappearance to please come forward.

Despite all the trolling and fun, I didn't realize how interesting and sad the story line is. With the leaked voice lines of survivors reacting to Maria's Body, this game has me bummed out...
It’s deeper than it appears to be, I’m interested on how they’ll expand the story in future updates

Yeah, once you're reminded that the victims in these horror movies/games are innocent human beings you start to empathize and it tends to become a lot less fun
This hits more once you learn that Johnny isn't actually "family". His mother was a victim of Black Nancy when he was a baby and the Sawyers "adopted" (kidnapped) him.
Yea and hitch told him and when he confronted nancy he gave him the scar on his face

The whole backstory in tcm game is heartbreaking, Once you pay attention to it instead of just playing without a care.

The saddest thing is the actor I don’t mean it like they are bad no no I meant it like when the next DLC or I don’t know how I can called it the new map perhaps and the new family member and the new victim he is one of Ana’s friend who is trying to find Maria.
Ok the sad part is there are leaks about the voicing lines about all victims crying about finding Maria Flores body in one of the room in the new map of Johnny Mother(not real mother btw she stole Johnny when he was a baby)

Jhonny has one of the few lines who shows empathy for Maria. The other being Cook, who berated him for bringing girls to the house and even confess that killing Maria wasn't personal, but the family couldn't allow a "love child" (bastard). He tried to warn Jhonny about it, but the horny-head didn't lisen.
Johnny being somewhat guilty for killing Maria adds quite a lot of depth in his character.
This actually adds some soul to Johnny instead of him being a dead cold serial killer

@@RealDFShadowwrong. Cook talks about not wanting Johnny's love child. Meaning he knew Johnny kidnapped that girl "maria" for a reason. Aka he actually did like her. But the family killed her when she tried to escape, hence another line from Johnny saying "she put up more of a fight" than any of the victims. Johnny wasn't saying it to deter survivors. He genuinely did like her
@@RealDFShadow if you listen, every killer does that. Cook and hitch laugh when they hit, and both get annoyed when the chase takes longer
From what i can gather johnny and sissy came back to town leaving carnage along the way. In the process Maria was abducted and brought to the family. At one point Johnny freed her, but she is ultimatley killed. The victims we play as were grabbed when they came looking for Maria. Not sure if Maria sent a message while she was free or they were just investigating.
So did Johnny have feelings for Maria?? Hence why he lets her go?? 🤔🤔
@Jim-lt4im it's implied he does. Cook will mention none of this would of happened if Johnny hadn't sprung his love flower or something along those lines

He definitely did not free her. If you know about the prequel game that came out pre launch, he jumped her, she ran to the house, was attacked by him and sissy, then leatherface sawed her in half. All within the span of about 6 minutes
@@mentalward718There is a pre sequel game “Petals” where you play as Maria, you can check it out on my newest video. Maria’s car broke down and went into the family’s property to take pictures of flowers, then got jumped by Johnny, leading her to run into the family house and get killed.

She had hoped to find her sister alive but we'll never know what was Anas's true fate after finding Maria Gun Studios said that she is the final girl compared to Sally because she's the reason she and her sister's friends from college are out here because they need to find maria.

@@julies_ With the description of his character and the description of Black Nancy, the woman who kidnaps raises him, it's pointed out that Johnny is not born to be a killer, he was taught to be one by his "mother" The voice actor for Johnny has spoken out about how there's a lot of character development coming for Johnny in the future.
He doesnt, its just a trick to get the victims, lines line that are always used in movies and stuff.

I’m case you didn’t know, the new character (black Nancy) has a line that goes “ I think my Johnny liked the girl” and “That’s what she gets for looking at my Johnny that way, he’s a sweet boy” could that mean Johnny and Maria had a intimate relationship or a romantic interaction?
Maybe, I’m interested to see how deep the lore goes in future updates

I don't know if it's more funny or sad that so many people take his fake guilt at face value. I highly doubt Maria's fate would have played out like a hackneyed kidnapping-to-lovers wattpad story considering he has a history of killing and obviously isn't the romantic type. It's painfully obvious that he would have offed Maria when he was good and ready. The family just didn't want any extra trouble. If anything, they were probably more pissed that he led an outsider to them rather than getting his kicks away from home. Johnny had no real fondness for Maria beyond that of another pretty victim for him to toy with and then destroy. She was doomed the second she stepped foot onto the Slaughter property, and he'd probably repeat the process of Ana came looking for her alone.

The Black Nancy (Jonny's mother) really messed with his head.
He would have grown a normal person if it wasn't for The Black Nancy!
Nancy did kill Johnny's Mother when he was very young and take him so she is really the one to blame for Johnny becoming so evil

I love how determined and strong minded Ana is as a character I love when she says “what did you do to my sister?!” After winning a close encounter little things like that make me confident when playing her she’s so cool
