Probably meant he saw Maria while he was out and instead of chasing her, he just followed her while she took pictures because he knew that she was heading in the direction of the family house. Like why would you go and chase her then when you can just let her peacefully walk onto the family property without knowing the danger she's actually in. ( Which is probably why he was laughing lol )

The signs saying "private property" and "no trespassing", the huge bootprints in the ground, fresh tyre tracks in the ground showing that there are still people around and of course the sun slowly setting when you know your car has broken down and you're practically in the middle of nowhere. The heavy footsteps in the sunflower field were really spooky.

this was a small project made by a different, smaller dev team so im pretty sure the actual game will look much better! in the mocap video we can see johnny for like 10 seconds and his facial animations look really good compared to this
