Please use a fuse tap instead of wrapping raw wire around a fuse itself. Wrapping wire around a fuse is a sure way to blow a fuse and potentially cause extensive damage to your vehicle and yourself

Be advised (happened to my 2016 f-juan fiddy), some ground connections under the hood are dedicated. I grounded a small led light strip to a ground screw that was used for ABS, and it did NOT like me adding another wire behind the screw head. It threw 2 codes and would NEVER clear until I removed the new ground wire I installed and THEN it was happy, codes gone.
When you wrap it around the fuse like that it destroys the point of having a fuse there because you’re jumping the two pins and basically circumventing the fuse circuit, now the LEDs are a fuse for that whole circuit and they might blow easy. I mean usually those LEDs are the same resistance so basically it’s just a super fancy fuse now lmao
I have the 2019 1500 bighorn and I hooked it to number 59 fuse and it stays on full time. Is there something different about your's then there is with mine?

Once you figure out which fuse you want to use to power the lights, you would really only need to connect the red wire to the fuse. assuming the green and two yellow wires are signals and brake ( the green might be a second acc connection, idk what kind of lights you have). But the red connects to the fuse of your choice, the black to a ground anywhere, and then you find the signal and brake circuits in your car, follow the factory wiring and splice into them. One yellow for the left signal , one yellow for the right signal, green for brake , etc. Hope that makes sense
@@CoercedJab , it means that if the fuse were to blow, he would be safe. If he were to set the wire on the left side of the fuse pin (always hot), if his lights ever had a problem, he could cook some things.
That’s how I did mine! I powered it through the fuse that powers the low beams. The only issue is that with the led light….it’s brighter than the high beams! 🤷🏻♀️

Check where you get the power for the light. In your fuse box some fuse are to be on only with the ignition is on. Others work both ways. See from where you got your.
You need to use the fuse designated to ACC. The inside of your fuse box lid should show where that is and thats where u want to connect your power line to the light. Its not supposed to constantly run if thats what youre wanting. It comes on in different ways for different you do with your lights. Also you should be able to bluetooth your phone to the light strip and conteol the colors and functions. Turn your bluetooth on on your phone and search for connectable devices while your car and lights are powered on after downloading the “LED Lamp” app on your phone and then open the app and there ya go. Thats only if your light strip has or came withe a little black box connection between the strip and power wiring. Thats the bluetooth symphony controller box.
That red strip is literally the adhesive side with the mounting tabe on the strip that you peel off to attach it to wherever youre gonna place it so I dunno if this guy ever figured that out or not or if he just hadnt stuck it down yet or what but he has alot of things to worry about with this shotty install…😂
It does matter. Best one is to attatch it to either your DRL fuse or headlights. That way it will only come on when u turn on your headlights. U can also use your parking light fuse.

Yeah I would buy a add a fuse so you have 2 fuses instead of one because if that fuse blows out bye bye coil power. It’s like $10-15 bucks to do it

You should use a saddle back fuse
Mine stays ON at all time because the fuses have power even when the vehicle is OFF. What can i do ?
Change fuses. Look for one that powers when starting
