- I upgraded my side mirrors to the deluxe kit from Go Westy!! It was about time that I got rid of my old floppy ones. I feel much safer driving around this week being able to see clearly in the side mirrors.

Hope these work out for you. If not, google vanagon truck mirrors. (I think those were standard on the European models?) Anyway, they attach at the bottom *and* top so are super steady. They also fold in for tight spaces like yours. I put them on my ‘71 bay window Westy, and they are a huge improvement.

What kind of Auto Parts stores are in Hawaii? Check out if they have free loaner tools (you pay for them and then get all your money back when you return them). And they expect people to use them in this way.
