Full wire bending ortho lab tutorial. Some call it a wraparound others call it a circumferential. Some call it just hard! It is one of the most challenging retainers to bend in my opinion. Requires a lot of patience and wire bending skills. Appliance is used to close spaces throughout ortho arch and not causing any interference with opposing arch. crossover wires like ball clasps.

This wrap around retainer can be used for posterior open bite..??? instead of braces
Nothing replaces braces like braces. This appliances only helps close spaces. If you have spaces (food gets stuck everywhere) this is the appliance for you

That wire looks like .040 .... I am sitting here with a piece of .036 thinking 🤔 maybe it is a brand name difference? Great video thanks

@@jorditay2097 the acrylic powder? Acrylic powder comes in many colors and is ordered. But if you want to know how a Hawley retainer is made Szara Dental has a good number of videos to show you... there are a few types of clasps to use and designs depending on patient needs

Its a retainer used to close spaces (gaps) within teeth
Retainer means to retain d already achieved position of teeth after fixed treatment...so that teeth do not go back to their original position once fixed brackets/wires etc r removed
Similar design can be used directly without fixed treatment to close minor spaces
