- This video is a "how to" study & observation tool that shows each step of the process of making a cast metal partial framework the way we do it in my laboratory, LSK121 Oral Prosthetics
It went into the vacuum chamber as a wet mould with wax and came out dry with metal inside ? You left out a heap of steps, melting out the wax, casting the metal!
Beautiful work.
What can you do at the end of the video?
I had one for the upper and it was a nightmare
At 14:36 , you seemed to have left out a very important step in the process. Seems like a common thread in your videos.. when exactly did you cast the partial from wax to metal ,
Narration please 😢
Hi
incomplete video, missing crucial steps. terrible
There's a lot of work that goes into a partial and the Dr's pay hardly nothing to the lab for them.
The Lab usually get 50%, so if a set of dentures cost $3000 the Lab will get $1500+
@@mize_yir_bizz really Oliver?! Man then your making some good dollars as a tech. For me I don’t even get 50% for a metal partial framework finish
@@mize_yir_bizz I do it for 200$🤪
and I can send the framework to any where
@@williamlee8398 i live in Ontario, Ca. Maybe that's why?
Ho
The music though 🪄🪄🪄🪄
It's a skill to fabricate cast partials the traditional way.My hats off to these techs. We had some casts done digitally,3d printing. The quality just wasn't there.
Luke,bravo sana,sen nail parani

Did you survey the models?I don't see any survey markings.
I love your video it is so rare these days to find a dentist who works with passion. ❤️❤️
Nunca imaginava que fazer este serviço seria tão trabalhoso.,mas ficou ótimo nas mãos deste profissional ,parabéns.
Wow, beautiful 🇨🇦🌎❤️
thanks for skipping the whole casting part...wow
Lots of patience to make a person’s mouth look nice.
SR. LUKE , ME PODRIA DECIR PORQUE EL GANCHO RECIPROCO DEL MOLAR INFERIOR DERECHO LO PUSO EN CERA ROSA ? GRACIAS
very beautiful, thanks for the video, i understood about the RPD making procedures
Your Videos are Awesome, A Real Artist helping people, Thank You😀
Thanks alot
If the mold is available, does the cost get reduced for remaking ?
The day you stop chasing the light, you realize the light is you and become one with the light!
This job is not for everyone.
Dentists and patients smile beautifully but not the technicians.
Techs do 90 percent of the work.Dentist charge big time and get all the glory.
Does a continuous clasp not stabilize a partial lower chrome better?
Very nice work...🎊🎇🎆❤️🤝
Hi Luke, nice Video. If you like I´ll print one for you next time if you send me your design as STl :-) Greetings from Germany!
We had some printed. The quality was not good.Went back to the traditional way.
I am Maria Mera and I like to register for your dental courses online I need the direction please thank you Maria Mera

Master Craftsman
E porcelana com ppr
Io avrei preferito un lavoro con attacchi e fresaggi su un gruppo in ceramica.
You skipped the part of adding the metal to the cast so this really isnt a complete video but you can find that being done elsewhere on RUclips...
we made other video long time ago.....please find it
Front color doesn't match with the side
Holy shit yeah the technician does 98% of the work and gets paid Jack compared to the dentist. When you see the process of the making involved the majority of the money should be going to the Craftsman doing all that work.
I 100% agree
that's why i don't want to work as a tech no more....not worth it...
Wait how did the wax turn to metal?
Magic!
Wow I’ve been waiting all day hoping someone will reply with answer. And all I get is “magic” haha
@@chrystianmontalvo9105 it is casted using the lost wax technique. I guess he didnt show the process.
@@chrystianmontalvo9105 I'm wondering if you have a more enlightened explanation! See Jojo_quins answer below!
is it safe to health ? if you use acrylic?
what was that blue stuff ?
where the metal come from?
Ооочень грубо
Good
Voces fazem ppr
i don't see where you put that metal
cast
@@Lsk121how does a blue gel become metal?
Молодец,уверен что мастер класс кстати
?
When did that blue plastic skeleton become metal?
He most likely cast it in a centrifuge. He invested the wax in some form of stone, burnt it away, heated a metal in a centrifuge and cast it. The metal replaces the void the wax left behind
I still don't get where the metal comes in to play? That metal framework just appears out of nowhere because it wasn't there before you put the paint plaster or whatever it is in that cylinder with the mold in it. After it hardens takes it out beats it off with a hammer and voila it's metal? I'm just trying a blank my mind doesn't want to work that way or something I'm not sure how it happens
I would jump off a cliff before I'd wear one of those things in my mouth.
Partials and dentures are the worst! Horrible. toothless or implants seem to be the only alternative. Implants cost a kings ransom.
Im sorry but from s dental technician view it is not such a bad thing to wear. But the way he has done it is aesthetically not good. I would hide the clasps so they are invisible.
@@Leo-pd9en Say's YOU....the thing looks heavy and uncomfortable as shit....I wouldn't stick that in my dogs mouth let along a human being.
@@kathygehres7172 youre right this looks like shit. I just said not all look like this there are better ways to manufacture them so they dont feel like a Train Track in your mouth. Implants are not always a good choice and tootheless is the dumbest thing someone can do because it has an huge impact on remainig teeth
where are the burnout and casting steps????
