What if you got a mounting bracket to mount the display onto the tower to function as a monitor stand? That would have the potential to give you better control over the viewing angles and make the height of the display more comfortable.
This wireless setup is simply DOPE, but I can't afford it. It's just way to expensive. Btw I love that you wear LTT merch (the T-shirt and the cup) and the exact same promo as LTT.
If you want to build the PC alone, there are 30-50$ cases that are a bit fatter AND fit full ATX PSU and GPUs as opposed to this one. One would be Kolink Satellite, it's a little bit hard to find. Thermaltake Core V1 is bigger, but more available.
I actually have basically the same. Sentry 2.0 + portable monitor. Travelled a lot with it. A bit of a pain in the ass at airports and quite heavy for the size, but other than that, it's an amazing setup.
Unfortunately battery banks ac outlet is still limited to 85 watts to 100 peak which is still not enough to power even a budget laptop or pc setup with a gtx 1050 ti card in it , plus their output waveform is modified sine wave , "meaning its not very friendly to sensitive electronics :/
I’ve been watching these builds for weeks now, and I’ve yet to find one where I can just click a hyper link and buy exactly what’s tested. I can’t build this but I want it. Any suggestions
@@mizteria6475 I can build but live in a third world country where most of these parts are not available in retail and importing costs 1.8x the price cause of customs and stuff.
Almost! It’s not the smallest PC case. I forget what I was called or the company that made it. I remember the small size came from the removal of a traditional power supply. It uses a very expensive switching power supply, costs $500 US and is the size of a credit card. Still an awesome build though!
I thought the smallest psu is 1u flex. I have them. My pc is smaller than this, but to be honest i have to settle for less spec. Too bad theres no 2080ti mini.
Amazing setup. I have a similar portable gaming rig like yourself. I would recommend you upgrade the NVme to Vnand samsung and in particular the 970Pro which has the highest read write. Also upgrade to crucial brand 32gb. You will notice a vast improvement mainly due to crucial being owned by intel. For some reason I believe it has to do with voltage allowances and also being made within the same micron facility are huge factors in why crucial is so good with intel cpus. Anywho im just missing the headset with my getup. Keep the videos pumpin!

Yes i also run two mini usb fans that I attach to whatever table my babies are placed on 👍🏻
Hopefully that Sentry 2.0 case will get cheaper over time as they keep refining it. The Ncase got cheaper with succeeding model versions so I dont see why the Sentry couldn't as well. Granted these cases are still pricey but if you want the best SFF mitx size they are worth the money.

i am a seafarer i stayed on board for 9 months and a laptop is more convenient for us but i still want to play ultra settings games and it sucks to buy expensive laptop and after a few years its old and you cannot upgrade. As a migrant worker we are entitled to carry 40kg luggage so its not a problem to bring this with me, maybe bubble wrap it 10x. The problem is its really hard to by those parts here in my country. Although there are many times i can go to the US but very limited time to go out and our company service only bring us to the mall, costco and walmart.

As soon as you said "portable set up," and "120 Hz monitor," I knew it was the G Story. Picked mine up on Massdrop several months back and it's become my daily driver. I still feel like a thief having gotten it for $220. 😁
You guys should check out Clevo. No 2080Ti's as far as I know, but you can get a 2080 (possibly 2 in SLI) and a full socketed 9900K in a form factor that can actually handle them without thermal throttling constantly (though OC is somewhat limited obviously). You get virtual parity in performance but a massive jump in portability and yes, they have RGB too :P (as well as 120Hz and 144Hz screens).
at 0:34 he says he only needs 2 wires to set the whole thing up...monitor uses 2, 1 for power one for display, which you can clearly see at 2:03, as well as at 4:52, but....pc power? so technically 3 cables.
actually, having this setup at home with the new valve steam deck would be an amazing idea. PS5/XBOX series X graphics, on a "desktop" at home and on a switch device on the move
Whats the weight of all the components/items added up? Most airlines have a carry on weight limit of 7kg. Or do you plan to check in some of the components/items? How much of a hassle was getting the items through the airport security clearance?
There are quite a few portable monitors that just require USB for power and signal. (given they aren't high refresh rate, but just wanted to make sure people don't think you cant have a portable setup with just two cables!)

If someone knows of ANY type of backpack for the Trident X Plus, then PLEASE let me know. It has to be a 15" wide compatible backpack. Thanks guys 😁🍙
Requires 3 wires? You must have missed the monitor bitwit used for comutex in flight gaming setup that got power and data over a single thunderbolt 3 port.
Why nvidea? Is that the only type of gpu that can fit in there? Im sure you could get something a lot better than a 2080 and cheaper with amd, but if amd’s are too bulky for it then that would make sense
