I think the accent wall does stand on it’s own merits, but you should still return the watercolor. I like it, and if you hang the watercolor and then grow weary of it, you can pull it down then and have a whole “new” reveal of your accent wall…again! 😉 😛

Accent wall is dope...yes, hang the painting. If the head board wasn't a navy blue I would say no but since it is it matches the painting well. It's like the cherry on top.

in my basic opinion, you did the water colour, be proud of it. i think it is great.

I think the watercolor adds a good splash (pun intended) of color to that side of the room, as well as adds even more depth to the wall.

I really enjoyed your video. Great work! I vote yes to returning the watercolor. I'm biased because that shade of blue is my favorite color but it also brings a splash of color to the wall while accentuating it. It doesn't overpower the wall design, both elements stand on their own without competing.
It looks great. I would hang the painting on the wall beneath the hanger. If you want color on the accent wall paint the geo-rails. Blessings on the new baby and mom and dad.

congrats on your baby! Thank you for this video. Ive been struggling on the design for my accent wall. I love that you winged it and it came out great. This inspired me to be less stressed on having exact design and measurements before starting and has delayed my project because of it. Just gonna go for it!

I just did an accent wall behind my bed and am deciding if I should put wall art up too, I think since you have a nice painting you did yourself you should definitely rehang it but the wall is nice on its own. I dont think you can go wrong

When ripping like that and use your push stick to push the board through, please push the piece that is in between the fence and the blade to avoid kickback. If it is too narrow then you need a different push stick or a grrrpr. Also please get a Sawstop so you don’t lose any digits.

Very creative and budget friendly design. I'd hang the picture though. I think it would contrast well with your geometric design. Use some of those 3M hanger strips that way you can add or remove it without any scars.
No picture on the accent wall but put it up on another wall. Love the colors in it.
Imho I’d add the watercolor back. It gives a nice pop of color and ties the head board Into it.
Hang the art back up. Adds color in an all white room. It also ties into your headboard. Very nice project!
Hi, I love the new mattress and will have to try one as long as they ship to the UK. I am afraid that one of the slats is not in line with the other about a foot away and my eye was drawn to it so you need that painting to cover the latt so you do not notice it. The mattress protector looked very thick and good quality and I was surprised to see the depth of the mattress when it inflated, it looked very good as well
beautiful! I always avoid hanging things on the wall behind bed -- if they fall for some reason while you are sleeping it's a mess :D

I love how the wall turned out and personally, I'd hang the painting somewhere else as the wall speaks for itself. Well done!
I would say the wall slats is your art. If you want to add some color, maybe you could get (or create) a large painting and cut it to fit in the openings between the slats. It could be kind of a "looking through a window" effect or maybe make it look like a stained glass window effect. Take a photo of the wall and use Photoshop to experiment with different looks.
I would leave the wall as is. Painting is nice though. But probably better somewhere else. Nice job!

hang the watercolor. you can also make a wood frame around it and stain it the same as the end tables to bring that up and have a triad for the piece for the wood

The painting is a great piece.....that would go better somewhere else. The wall looks great. Less is sometimes, more.
I would not clutter the accent wall with the lovely painting but use it in another place where it can get the full focus that it deserves.

I have a question. Did you randomly cut the slats and then make the design to fit the random lengths of the slats or did you cut the slats as you went?

Keep the painting, but, place on wall beside the bed. Also, you should finish the wall above and to the left of the door. It looks a little unfinished, I think.

Maybe cut a strip and rip it half way through the middle to hide the wire - OTHERWISE, you're perfect.

you will literally HATE what I'm about to say about safety. You are anything but unaware of being safe. When you were running the 2x4 into the bare saw blade I cringed at how easy it would have been for you to have sliced off a couple of fingers. GET THAT BLADE COVERED. Then using the brad nailer that is designed only to fire when pushed against a surface BUT, it can malfunction and was SO CLOSE to that cute baby you produced, I CRINGED AND CRINGED AND CRINGED thinking one tiny slip and wham- You're going to give this old man a heart attack if you keep doing things like this so please, think of ME and be safe-er.
