Just started with the nail strips, saw so many “it’s so easy” IG ads. Bought MoYou because of their cute nail stamping plates, it was the only brand name I recognized. Found your channel through your MoYou nail strip application video. Like your presentation style with info packed videos and tips, what worked for you, what didn’t, you are upfront with sponsored videos and PR and you’re building your channel based on trust. Subscribed to you. Thank you for so many nail videos!
Thanks so much! The “it’s so easy” ads annoy me. I get wanting to portray a 1 min application to get that initial sale, but it leads to frustrated customers and no repeat business.
Another great video, thanks, Lucy! The Lily and Fox wraps are just standard wraps that are manufactured in China and that multiple small businesses purchase and resell at various price points. I would not pay more than three dollars for a wrap, but I have had some good luck with them using a base coat or Ridge filler, and just a normal nail polish topcoat.
@@kbeautyhobbit agree, customer service is everything, especially when the market is so saturated, and there are so many choices for the same product. The last time I ordered from them, it was for a wrap that I specifically wanted to wear on a vacation, and the shipping took so long that I didn’t think it would arrive in time for my trip. I reached out to them, and while it did arrive in the nick of time the customer service was mediocre.
@@kbeautyhobbityeah if you wanna try custom ZB wraps (lily and fox are stock wraps) try for example uptown girl boutique, sweet serenity haven or designsbydefreese
Hey Lucy! Lily and fox told me to use a rubberized base coat before placing stickers on and to use the Sally hansen top coat miracle gel for the top coat.
@@kbeautyhobbitit doesn't we are talking about normal basecoats NOT gel products. I use BC underneath every nail polish wrap and scg (huizi, ohora and litgels). My removal is always the same. Breaking the seal with an orange stick, working through with no force using a flosser and loads of remoisturizing acetonfree free nail polish remover.
@hollygolightly9572 I know you aren’t talking about gel coats. But I don’t use removers when I take off my strips, usually just a floss pick and oil. Adding a base coat requires remover and I don’t like that
❤Thank you for the video! I don't want to use a lamp so tried the lily and fox with normal base coat from Orly and normal topcoat. They lasted about 8days on me which for price was pretty good for me! I'm on the search for Mister Bower! Love the videos!
You are amazing! Thank you so much for your videos.. Im new to nail stickers.. I had acrylics for many years. The past 10 years, Ive just manicured my nails. I decided to try uv nail stickers because of your videos!! Thank you for your time and detailed video's!! Ive tried orhara so far.. Thank you, thank you❤😊
This was a lot of fun to watch. I’ve tried most of these brands even though I haven’t worn the non-UV stickers in over two years. How have you never tried Zinipin (or maybe you have, but I couldn’t find a video or mention). They are my most favorite brand. They are Korean and very luxurious with exquisite designs. I love Ohora, Lit Gels, and Nailog, too.
one other thing that i do to minimize the use of polish remover. i use cuticle oil to remove the topcoat and wrap down to the basecoats so i can just reapply a new set of stickers over the existing basecoats. this works about once and then i want to take everything off to do a full moisture treatment and give my nails a break .thank you for everything. you are so completely honest and informative.
They lasted 1 week for me. Dashing diva lasts 2 weeks and you get more strips. I found lily and fox easier to apply because they are more stretchy, and easier to file off. But dashing diva stays glossy for the entire time. Lily and fox isn't glossy at all
I hope nailog will start to ship internationally! I love ohora designs, but my nails are pretty big. Litgel has a better sizing for me, but I like ohora designs more (ohora has more neutral colors)
Are the Nailog only online? Or do some stores carry them? I am going to be in US next month so hope to stock up on some different nail products to try ( as many of them are harder to find here in Australia).
Trying to be as objective as possible, CS are nail polish strips. They wear, chip and get damaged like polish. With that said, color street is an MLM and that’s a hard pass for me. I don’t support the predatory nature of that business model. But the strips themselves aren’t good either so no big loss there.
Hi Lucy,Have you heard heyhae nail? I would high recommend for this gel nail brand.I I’ve been using Ohora for the past few years. But now heyhae would be in my favorite list. Thanks

I’d love to get your opinion on Polish Pops 2.0. I bought 3 sets. So far, 2 of the sets are separating. The color layer seems to be pulling away from the clear top layer. I’m not a beginner and apply just like you do. Tried a set today and even after curing they separated on the free edge when I filed.
I love Nailog ❤thanks to your reviews. I do notice a plastic like covering over the nail sticker, (I remove the covering over sticker) am I doing something wrong?
You aren’t doing anything wrong. Some brands add an extra plastic cover on top (especially with the semi cured gels) and some don’t. The last set of nailog I used a month or two ago had the covering. I don’t remember them having that in the past.
Most of them post dimensions somewhere on the site. I would compare ohora with nailog, dashing diva glaze, and lit gels to start. My nails aren’t wide so it’s not something I’ve looked for specifically.
I’d love to hear what you have to say about the Polish Pops brand and how they compare to others. I’ve never used nail stickers before and have a set of these, but I don’t know how to compare them to all these other brands you have experience with.
DD glaze, ohora and litgels have incredible shine and a dome. I love the salon look and that coming from someone who doesn't like acrylic and gel nails :D And yes the litgels owner is the best! @@kbeautyhobbitthanks! I just found your channel today and it’s so informative. I’ve been debating on trying semi cured gel stickers. I just ordered from Nailog and I can’t wait to try them!
How fun! I remember doing my first nail sticker. They didn’t turn out that well 😂 so don’t be surprised if the very first time isn’t exactly perfect. It does get easier quickly.
I saw some people do that by putting builder gel over them, but to me it’s not the way these products are meant to be used. The under side will be sticky if not adhered to a nail. You are better off doing acrylic / plastic tips and then putting design stickers like the ones in the video over them.
I have. I meant to include them here and forgot as I no longer have any of the boxes. Not bad by any means, but they should stop including tools in their kits (or improve the quality of those tools).
Am I the only only one having problems with Ohora? MoYou and Nailog stay on for 2-3 weeks. Ohora (no 3d design) has broken on 2 nails in half (had to replace one of them) and has broken on almost all corners (I have square nails). Lasted less than a week!
My guess would be you probably aren’t the only one. I haven’t had these issues but it doesn’t mean others haven’t. Sometimes cracking like that means the nails have been over cured. I will say that some bands tend to work better for certain people than others. MoYou didn’t last very long on me, for example.
