00:09:19 Sonata in E Minor, Kk. 81: II. Allegro - this one is really allegro!!! 00:39:43 Sonata in D Minor, Kk. 89: I. Allegro - these two are my favorites!!!
Marvelous Mandolin Sonatas from the very first note ! Scarlatti has such a wide variety of sounds, compositions and musical textures ! Thank you again for your music shares, Brilliant Classics !
Mandolins evolved from the Lute family in Italy during the seventeenth and eighteenth ... The original instrument was the mandola (mandorla is "almond" in Italian.
Even if those praiseworthy musicologists are mistaken in their theory - who caress? If Scarlatti's sonatas can be played on the modern grand piano (and guitar), it is certainly valid to play them with a mandolin and small ensemble. By the way,, Wim Winters said he has reason to believe that some of Scarltti's sonatas were composed for clavichord. (Check out his YT channel, "AuthenticSound.") Thank you for this and all of your excellent posts. Aside from the intrinsic quality of the music they serve as an uplifting oasis of calm, order and Reason at a time when the world seems to be coming apart at the seams.
Quel est le nom du mandoliniste? et quels sont le ou les autres instrumentistes ? Souvent, une sonate se joue pour un seul instrument ou pour 2 . Merci pour votre réponse.
