Fun fact... Jon sold his New York home for 829% more than its assessed by the local tax district back in 2014. It had been valued at $1.8 million for tax assessment purposes the year before he sold it. This extremely low valuation significantly decreased his property tax and he gained financially as a result. That is the very definition of fraud.
In contrast, nobody was harmed by the valuation of Trumps property since the banks he did business with had to agree with that valuation.
So in summary, Jon is at best a hypocrit. At worst he is a criminal who should be investigated by the New York AG. Oh wait... the Governor said that she dusted that law (that has never been used) off specifically to go after DJT.... so I guess Jon has nothing to worry about.

My dad used to say that money’s no problem unless you don’t have enough or you have too much. This from a blue collar worker, who grew up in poverty, spent his life trying to improve himself, and died with over a million dollars in assets. He valued education, and sent me to school so that I could have the opportunity to have a better life than he did. My life has been spent trying to live up to his trust. It’s been hard, but I think I’ve done him (and myself) proud. I know I’ve been privileged. I’ve tried to play this privilege forward. If we don’t, we are validating the concept that you can only get ahead by stepping over those less fortunate than you. We are one here on this planet. Donald Trump has been given everything in his life. What has he given back? Nothing but grifting and denial of responsibility for his actions. There is a saying I heard in Argentina: the fish starts to rot from the head. It means that corruption in a society starts with the elites, rich people, CEO's, politicians, judges, then trickles down to ordinary people. People start thinking "why shouldn't I rip off a couple of hundred if those at the top are ripping off millions?" That is how societies collapse into dysfunction and poverty. In Argentina, people know a thing or two about corruption, dysfunction and collapse. It was the richest country in the world in the 1920's.
