I comment a little late here! lol, "Te quiero" in Spanish is NOT I love you (te amo). it actually have a double meaning, it is use as " I like you" , but can be also use as "I want you".

Fun Fact: This is the only song in Spanish by Rammstein and a little homage/thank you (also musically with the trumpets.) to the Mexican fans. You do really good analysis/interpretation of Rammstein songs. Especially when it's not even his native language!!!! Hopefully there will be more to come. greetings from Switzerland.

The mexican people love this song. Rammstein wrote it for thei beloved mexican Fans. Its their only spanish song. Its a hommage. They are obsessed with this song. You totally misunderstood it. Just check out their legendary mexican
Concerts where the crowd sings this song all along and Till didn't need to do anything.

Carmen Zapata who is responsible for the female vocals were at a ripe old age of 77 when this song was released. Fun fact!

      Funnier fact: You're wrong.
The part is sung by Carmen Teresa Zapata Lizardo (venezuelan origin). She was born in 1972. The song was released in 2005. So she was 33 at the time.
If you write her name on google, you can find the fact that she was the one who sung in this song. If you write her name followed by age, you can find a picture where it says when she was born.

This is a song dedicated to the Mexican fans. You need to see them live in Mexico doing this song. The audience are singing so loud that u can't hear Till.

spanish speaker here. "te quiero" actually doesn't mean "I love you" to a spanish speaker, its just that there is no good translation in english, "te quiero" is a lesser version of "te amo" (which does mean I love you), you can say "te quiero" to someone you want, like, or care for, but doesn't mean you have strong feelings for that person.

    • @Sinful_SM

It can also mean something like "I want you" or "I want to have you".
      Fitting for this context.

In general, this is what Till says about "Te quiero puta" in an interview for the German "Metal Hammer" in 2005:
“The song is cheerful, but its underlying reason is serious: gringos go to a pleasure house, have a noisy party. But our hero falls in love with a prostitute and, of course, does not want to admit it to himself: “Not a heart, but a “lemon,” it says further. However, he states "I love you wh##e!".
The problem is that this plot cannot be seen in the lyrics at all!
Till also says that he does not like to "chew" and explain his poems, but without his explanations, no one will ever know the true meaning.

Actually the boobs are lemons or melons the nether yaya is papaya, steak, ham and many other edible stuff with another meanings related to sex or body parts
