Great video. Would it be possible to convert an old pop up spray head to a drip system? Could I just replace a head with: connector...pressure reducer/ filter.... supply line...?
Well it depends. Depending on elevation changes etc, quite a bit. How many emitters will determine the effectiveness of the 1/2” tubing supply line. Usually a 1/2” supply line can do a small residential front or backyard. Depending on the size of the yard. Or a veggie garden. The more emitters and their size will determine number of supply lines.
@@YardCoach Thank you for the reply another question I have is I have a 12 fleet driveway in the way I would have to run pipes around the house to reach the other side or should I do another back up valve and box in the back . That will save me approximate 80 feet of tubing and reduction in water pressure?
@goldysingh9586 that is 1 solution or you can tunnel under the driveway, or cut the driveway and patch it. A 2nd valve assembly might afford you expansion capability in the future.

Absolutely Rosie. Did quite a few of those over the years. What is the end goal for the conversion? Thanks for watching. Coach.
How about drip line with emitters built in?
Sure. Like rain bird or NetaFim. Use filters on your valves and monitor moisture dispersal for accuracy.
Drip line can be problematic over tine, emitters tend to go bad, or the drip line itself becomes brittle.
It’s called maintenance and inspection. Things wear out and replacement is part of it. Just like cars, fridges, and clothes.
Excellent presentations! Thank you.
You are welcome Mike. Thanks for watching. 👍
I appreciate the video!
Hope you can use the info in your project or general knowledge. Thx for watching. Coach.
