    An excellent insight. Well done. When I wrote my Ph.D. on the Glynn family of Kilrush, Co. Clare, I found countless references to the Goodbodys.

    As this narrator mentions a couple of times the maids were helpful to the IRA shows out of touch or unsympathetic to the irish people around them

    The goodbody wouldn't been living in constant fear if they didn't go against the will of the irish oeople in being independent from England a republic instead a colony as madated by the 1918 national election
