Best demo I’ve seen of it so far. Would love to know the signal chain, it sounds amazing! Also sounds as tho u have the Dream65 running in stereo, so maybe running one of the stereo outputs into the Boss? thnx for the great demo
@@davidlindsay9142 Thanks for your kind words. Glad you like my demo! :) I played the Dream ’65 into the mono input of the DM-101. By the way, although the Dream ’65 has stereo inputs and outputs and can handle stereo signals, it only provides a mono amp signal. Nevertheless, you can hear some additional stereo reverb in some of the examples in the first part of the demo. However, in the second part of the video, starting at 5:24, you only hear the Dream ’65 into the Delay without any additional effects. Thanks for watching! Cheers, Michael
strange that my dm-101 does not oscillate at classic mode like yours and in some stereo modes right channel is significantly louder. thanks for rhis vid!
This pedal is not designed cleverly at all. It is really NOT stereo since there are NO two inputs for a stereo. Second, the pedal does not have ¨kill dry¨ on outputs, and the some ¨kill dry¨ options are WRONG. One must have stereo in and stereo out, meaning that delay is usually NOT the first pedal on the pedalboard but rather last one. Etc. Other objections too ...
Why do people always focus on what a bit of gear isn’t rather than what it is? Go DSP! You get more for your money. I love the DM-101, it’s inspiring. Also you can kill dry.
Yes, Boss just buys a few inexpensive chips and tosses them in an enclosure. There's nothing more to it then that! No R&D, no design or engineering costs...couldn't be any easier.

Ein geniales Boss DM-101. Das ist für mich ein absoluter Favorit Delay!!! The Best Delay!!!
I cant wait until i can afford to buy one! Simply just an incredible pedal.
I'm trying hard not to buy this now, it is on sale for $299 until Jan 01, 2025.
@@Nightwinflyeri ended up getting one due to that deal. 299 was too hard to pass up. I absolutely LOVE mine. Did you end up getting one as well?
@@orryfishburne5326 Yes I did. I haven't had a chance to unbox it yet, but I am planning to this week.
@@orryfishburne5326 I am also planning on getting the Behringer Uni-Vibe that just was announced. $69 is a great price for an optical uni-vibe!
I pre-ordered this and one thing I always remember when I first played it! the modulation is so nice!!!!

Or maybe it was Boss at the beginning of the signal chain, stereo output into the Dream65??

Echos are not for me discovered that a time ago, but dm101 sounds really sweet

So what exactly "has its price" when the BBD chips cost maybe 20$/10 pcs.?
Please don't support the rip-off.

Bbd circuits have to be adjusted by hand, so it's labor intensive.
Personally I'm fine with a digital emulation.
I've heard this but I have no idea how long before you would need to have an adjustment done. I believe it is decades.
