@@roio , I'm not a horn player per se, but a piano/keys and a bass player who studied music over a long period of time. When I saw this band at my school with Marcia Hines in 1974-75, Mick's playing on this song blew me away with his style and the nuances he brought to the song. Mick and John Helman (Bass) opened my eyes to the beauty of this instrument, the fender bass, and big band sounds. This later set me on a path towards writing arrangements for bands with brass sections. Wacka40, he certainly is missed by me too..

Mick’s solo on this beautiful arrangement greatly influenced my flugelhorn playing in my youth. It’s virtually untouchable.
