- First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo consisting of the sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, born in 1990 and 1993 respectively. When performing live, they are accompanied by a drummer, a guitarist and a keyboard player.

Polar Music Prize, is like the Nobel Prize of Music and is awarded to to one contemporary musician and one classical musician every year. It was founded by ABBA:s manager Stikkan Andersson.

LALEH "Snö" is a good introduction to her (there are fan made videos on YT with english subtitles to the studio-version of the song)
and on Laleh´s official YT there are good live-performances of songs like "en stund på jorden" , "socker o vatten" and "bara få va mig själv"
She has also (of course) been on the swedish tv-show så mycket bättre and her version of "ängeln i rummet" is great. This song is one of the
best songs ever made in sweden composed and recorded by EVA DAHLGREN.
And if You want something in english by Laleh then "Some die young" is a great choise.

I think what the sister is doing is a simple version of Jojk, which is the traditional singing of the nomadic same people from northern part of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Russia. Here is a bit more modern version. ruclips.net/video/woEcdqqbEVg/видео.html The song is starting 2:30 in to the clip.

Maybe you'd enjoy the artist Amanda Ginsburg and her song called havsmelodi, it's jazz rather than country but it's still a nice song imo.
