- Jared's 1600HP Toyota Supra and the Real Street Performance crew take a trip to Oklahoma to compete in a local no prep race that has always been dominated by Domestic V8's. Today's standards not really. 6 cylinders and even 4 cylinders with the right build will keep up with 8, 10 even 12 cylinders.
You forget to mention the big turbo ;)
martijnvkk hahaha dude big turbo with 50 or 60 pound of boost and the engine still can handle that Mach power this is crazy on 3.0 or 3.4 liter !

In the end it's all the same. You can have an engine 1/2 the size and push twice the amount of boost or have double the engine and push half the amount of boost it's all preference.
Double the displacement but half the price for the build

Water methanol is a great way to go faster. It eliminates heat soak issues and cools air intake temps far better than the biggest intercooler you can pop in front of your car but used in conjunction is amazing

If I am not mistaken, most of those other cars are Under 1500HP, some by a few hundred HP, and some were heavier. Power to weight ratio is key here. Too much cred to an OP car in that series. Come on people. Only race worth having was the second to last one he had. But I do respect the build. No doubt about that.
