The TD002G didn't have as much power as I thought it would, while the GDT02 seemed to do better in testing today than the last video I did on it. I wonder if the Makita's have a break-in period. In a future video I will re-test the TD002G VS the GDT02 to see if the break-in period theory has some truth to it. The TD002G was fresh out of the box for the testing in this video, while the GDT02 now as a week of work in use.
Idk how that is maybe play a little more with it. Also depends on when the battery’s came off the charger even though it may show full battery if it’s been off the charger for 6 hours vs a battery freshly pulled off the charger the one that’s freshly pulled out is superior even though both show full charge. With that being said idk about a break in period but when I raced my gen 1 US model (Gdt01) the td002g was faster but I had ran quite a few screws by quite a few I mean more than a few lol through the td002g I also think the td002g trigger and control over it is the greatest it’s pretty crazy hitting the trigger on the jap vs hitting the trigger on the US model a huge sound difference. great vid I love the yellow it was that or the purple one but I’m a sucker for that purple. Also add in the light differences alone are worth it I couldn’t stand the stupid glow ring thing never could actually stay on and the 4 led is so much brighter than one on each side.
The Japanese tool is always superior because they engineer them that way they're usually have higher torque also both break away and tightening higher Nm although it won't be stated on the tool plate or the packaging...The European and US models are made in China huge difference in engineering quality compared to Japan..
From an engineer perspective, why would the engineering quality be worst in china? If its a Makita brand and the design is already done why would they change the design? It does not make any sense, if anything the material would be cheaper if made in China to save cost.
They use heavier hammer n anvils in the drive mechanics..better on board electronics cutting edge mosfets/transisters theres enough video uploads on here with tool breakdowns Japan is known for its excellence in engineering n quality control China in times past was the epitome of poor construction & assembly of absolutely anything from soft toys to power tools...it's gotten better since western companies av moved plant and factory assembly over there..Everything Japanese is superior in engineering and production standards..Why is it that way anything they produce is an extention of themselves the Japanese have great emphasis on precision pride n honor the Samurai & Katana are there approach to life..
I've noticed on the video you released about the warranty issues with metabo that you luve near Central Florida. I'm out of orlando and was wondering if you would be interested in selling the new hikoki vacuum or if I paid you before hand, would you order one for me? Just wishful thinking. I have about 15 metabo hpt tools and share your same enthusiasm on metabo and hikoki tools
Damn, watching all these Makita videos makes me want to try Makita tools. I have been using DeWalt tools for years, so this will be interesting. Question about the battery though. What is a good price for a 5ah 18v battery for this brand?

For me, I have had 3 Makita impacts and there are always my favorite. I never expect them to be the most powerful but the most precise and smooth.

100% true!

Best Makita reviews on youtube.
Gonna have to pick me up an XDT19. Just got some M18's but looking to return for the Makita's.
Thank you!
Hey, you finally got one, congrats! Thanks for sharing your thoughts :)
Thanks for watching, it’s a “holy grail” tool for me.
@@UltimateToolReviews yeah I also really like mine!

80 bucks?
Wait for the 36v saw deals, $200/250 for 4x 5ah batteries, dual charger and 36v saw.
One perk of having DeWalt is that nobody will try to steal your tools
I prefer the US XGT impact driver with glow ring.
I can't wait to get the lxt mini blower.
How do you order from amazon japan? I need the keys. I have a lot of tools I need to buy.
That’s interesting it looks like the 18 volt was faster than the 40 volt for Makita
And it had the lowest rated torque too.
Which adapter do you use on your JDM impact drivers to fit US bits?
They fit but will be loose. Just cut a 5mm of an old hex bit and shove it into the collet, problem solved
Nothing, they work fine but are a bit loose, no big deal.
I use US bits in my JDM hikoki with no issue
