failure. Michael superglues salt and pepper shakers together to show how marriage bonds two people together permanently.
At my girlfriend's parents house Christmas morning she opened her gift to find a salt and pepper shaker glued together. I reminded her of the movie and explained the significance to her parents. I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. I'll never forget that moment and we'll always remember this movie - for better or worse-
"Fireproof doesn't mean that a fire will never come, but that when it comes you'll be able to withstand it" That is very true.
For Christmas I gave my wife salt and pepper shakers that were glued together. Then I proposed. This movie was a blessing!

Salt and pepper shakers are better ornament on the wedding cake. Nice metaphor!
It's amazing how something so simple can be used to explain something complicated. If you really think about it, people tend to be ignorant of these things that makes so much sense. All because of a refusal to believe the unknown.

Just buy the movie off of Amazon. It is definitely worth it. This is one of the best parody movies that I have ever seen. It is so good some people think it is a serious movie. For example this salt and pepper scene making fun of how they make cheesy metaphors on halmark movies. Classic

oh and a subtle one at that! this movie is crammed with the corniest dialogue and "life lessons" then your average episode of "Davey and Goliath"

Hey I also always watch Roadhouse when it's on television, don't make it Citizen Kane, I have always enjoyed train wrecks of movies, and this is most assuredly one of those.
