      It takes lot of money to get into medical school in the US, be it Government or private.
      Minimum 2 crore for 4 years of medical school.

      @@harshityadav109 obviously it won't be refunded . Just like here , even if u don't clear neet ug or pg , fees of application and examination don't get refunded .
      You have to do residency there . USMLE is basically an exam to get license for practising in usa as a doctor .

    Although it’s heart breaking listening to cost , but i guess it would be worth to spend only if we are damn sure with our preparation ,otherwise this 23k$ gonna end up to be 25k 😅

      Don't give up. You could always work as a JR in AIIMS. Salary is 1 lakh/month which could help you find the USMLE journey

      Not really, huge loads of student debts and 50-60% income taxes eats all of it up. And plus the amount of hours u have to work😭

      That's true but residency doesn't depend only on exams and things you can study for, there are things that you can't control, getting a residency is far from certain after you do all that

    Hey manik...some people should attempt both neet and usmle due to some pressure or safe play...please make a video on what are the add-on materials u suggest for a student who has primary goal of usmle but had to give neet too. TIA

      Well it depends on your perception. You can join some pg in India and go on preparing for usmle. It has disadvantage also that when no backup is there then you May perform better

    In residency you get 60,000$ per year and after completing it you become board certified physician and can practise with making like 250k$ upto even 500k$ as it depends on the speciality. And he said that right the US students have to do 4 years of bachelor's degree with taking the pre med class and then they spend so much for preparing for the MCAT and then also 3 out of 10 students who apply get acceptance and the med school in total of 4 years costs them like 250k$ to even 300k$ plus... so its better you know, knowing the privilege that we get we should use it and strive hard as they us med students have to strive hard to get into med school and pay that hefty student loan of 250k$ and if in your case you would be making the same and moreover they will make same but will spend it to repay there student lone debt with interest so its a lot of them too

    Can you please prepare a table with sequence of events from the day one of your preparation, roughly.🙏🏿 When you started first aid when did you finish it, when you started uworld, did you finish one source and went to other or you were doing it simultaneously ? When you bought amboss, usmleRx, when you applied for exam, after what amount of preparation etc such question please make a video and address those. Thank you in advance

      Step 2 CS is canceled and you don't need step 3 to match. Just step 1, step 2 CK and OET

      Why ? The ROI on USMLE is exceptional. You spend 20k $ (compared to US med students who spend 200k+ $). In the end you both make the same 250k + $ every year.

    Hey I am just in my 1st year of med school in india but still wanted to ask that if someone gets matched to a program with J1 visa but still want to continue in US as a physician after their education is there another way to get to do that as the J1 visa is only for 3 years

      not really if you have stellar scores and research, but why leave a part of your application lacking when you are spending such a big amount.
