Amazing game dude! You've done such a great job, that boom after you had to move to the center was INSANE!!! I told myself that ANY second you'd be confronted by someone when you're settled at the center, but for the whole game you were able to get back on your feet, and emerge much stronger than most despite a rough start. ONE THING THOUGH: You never really used natives, despite upgrading them fully. Natives would have supported military population, but I don't blame you, since there was so much going on in this game. I enjoyed every second of it, great content! Keep it up!
Well samurai, i was green this match and let me say, WHAT A GAME! That battpe between us was so intense and I know realise quite ironically that it was our warfare that fueled all those ridiculous cav upgrade and eco shipments that stopped me from being able to push in. Also seriously you base was so tiny i kept looking for more vills and couldn't find them i always forget how tightly packed a settler wagon eco is. Honestly if i had old han in my deck (literally hit 40HC in the middle of this match) it probably would have been very different. I had no idea you were being attacked by yellow at the same time, i never had spies. that huge army orange wheeled past your base went straight for me and it was gone in seconds to my pure cav/artillery army haha shame you can't see it from your perspective. I still stand by my statement that any match is NR40 with enoigh walls ;) Yellow was really rude lol never said a word and insisted on sieging every single building in your base... i actually completely wrecked him around 20 minutes and even killed almost all his vills, no idea how he bounced back from that. Guess i should have sent more units to finish him off. GG my friend loved the war wagon vs jinete wars!
It felt like freaking WW1. Countless dead and no ground gained (until red went total war and bombed green cilivilians and economy [this part sounds more like WW2 tho]).
It hurted my eyes as you took Comanche language that decreases the cost of improvements AND THEN RESEARCHED NEEDLE GUN AND MERCANTILISM BEFORE IT WAS FINISHED.

Honestly, that battle with green was just mental, the fact that mostly wagons got to hold that green army even in such smaller numbers is impressive. I was literrally counting your pop at the point I realize the difference in the numbers of both armies. Until you found those cavs just chilling in the middle of your base I was like "good lord Samurai, how can I warn you that you must have some guys holding your pop somewhere!!" haha even though it was a year ago. So much quality in this match, amazing!!! Regards from Brazil man, keep it up!
When the ottoman destroy your town center I was just paralyzed. Critic moment!!! But you played really well since there. Love your free for all matches. Very good game, enjoy seeing it
this reminds me of the time i fought off two late game frances in a FFA... with russia. oh my god, the horror. despite that i managed to take one down and i nearly crushed the other one but that late game french eco, cant compete with it, especially not with russia. You did great btw, managing that 2v1. its too bad about green though he could have been the ace in the hole. but man i feel your pain.

I know im pretty late commenting on this video, but brother you sure fought to the finish, I thought it was crazy that you left your main base and still held the enemy back, keep it up man.
Outstanding effort, though I could see you were going to lose once you threw your weight into green while yellow was crushing orange. The end-of game stats shows it all, you killed more enemies than several players put together. Yellow just did the classic 'hide in the pocket, build up behind walls', which is why I find that FFA battles are somewhat uninteresting. The smartest move is to keep a low profile and wait til everyone else is exhausted.

1) just put in the number, for example. 1 2) I would say yes! but I would do team games first because they will help you out and you will learn much quicker that way :)

@@dimitrisoikonomou3568 That was Select TC; make five vils. Buildings and units have unique hotkeys, which you can set in the settings. For example, pressing Ctrl+B is faster than looking for your barracks, so learning hotkeys will improve your speed drastically. And yes, grouping units into armies is useful for sure. BTW, is you press the hotkey, click the army group, or a selected unit icon two times, it will be centered in your view. Useful for returning to your city for example.
Im not a aoe3 pro. But i dont understand why all people safe so much like 10k ressources before starting to fight. Because early kill some enemies settler will let you boom better then them. ??
Age of empires 3 is a difficult game! What are your thoughts on age of empires definitive edition? In my opinion 1 > 3 > 2. I mean to say by looking at 1 it looks simple. 3 is somewhat there are many civilizations and features. Where as 2 is a weird game, I think mix of both 1 and 3 if I am not wrong :-) .

I miss playing this game so much! I always loved playing vs the AI on the Caribbean map, the rest against me at the highest difficulty.

Ports get a +10 mortar range card afaik (?)
Falcs could have made a major difference, and given an opening to hit the mortars whenever they showed up.

Practice your hotkeys. It is particularly useful to get used to Ctrl+T; Ctrl+Shift+V all the time.
