I was the red player a pleasure finally playing with you, gg.... on the funny side my caravel from the 3rd age up had the spawn point right in between your docks and it got destroyed before i realized i had it :D

Great video! Loved it! I started experimenting with Spain after watching this series and I found out you can take advantage of Spain receiving shipments faster. Since Spain doesn't get a 400 wood age up you can send the 300 wood repeat card as your 2nd card in age 1. It really makes up for not having that age up option.

The faster shipments are great, but unction is my favorite part of the Spanish, especially with Russian (team cheap priests, team cold water port), and Chinese (team 1 fuchuan, team improved warships) allies. Unction works on monitor long range attack too, max damage without allies or treasures is 733 (7330 versus buildings, and nearly 150 versus villagers) on the long range shot.
Really?? So do you put them in the warship or on land next to it??
@@SamuraiRevolution Next to it, works for all ships. The Spanish galleon can have nearly 5k hp, and 162 damage. You can get instant units from a galleon also. I use an outpost wagon (set as delivery point), and a galleon for rushing across water in colonial. The outpost and ship are a tough combo and give you a foothold. I never tried overpopulating with missionaries either, I forget which civ had team 2 missionary cards (Japan maybe?). If you can get 12 that might be +76% or more damage to modified stats instead of 62%.

@@SamuraiRevolution Yeah, I was wondering why you were not using it to decimate those tightly packed wagons, and cavalry. You can totally stagger the shots too, and on landlocked maps with puddles big enough for a dock you can create a makeshift fixed gun.

Spain is a great civ. Plus both sea and island's treasures are its deaily bread.
Great video! But when I play against a friend I use French curasierer cav (or how you spell it, the best French cav) and I always won by far against his Spanish lancers. Is the French cav much better than the Spanish or is it that I micro better?
Spanish cav is better vs infantery. They dont do so Good vs cav

they were fighting in land. Green was probably being attacked by teal, red and orange were getting attacked by blue and yellow.

I watched few of these ffa games by you and notice "nobody" attacking you... strange, I always get in fight with in 20 mnt... Unless you agreed with others not to attack... thats not fun to watch you "buildind walls", we like to see FIGHT
