I just ordered a model 3, get to pick it up monday and am super excited. I see you're a fellow Georgia resident, didn't notice until the Microcenter lol.
Congratulations on your purchase! They’re incredible vehicles, the golden standard when it comes to EV’s. We test FSD all around, our primary location is Georgia.
It caught me off guard, not sure exactly why it displayed the message. Out of habit I put my hand on the wheel but I wonder what would have happened if I ignored the message?
Hardware 1 Also known as Autopilot 1 or AP1, this version was first used in Model S vehicles in 2014. It included a Mobileye EyeQ3 computer, forward-facing radar, ultrasonic proximity sensors, and cameras. Hardware 2 Also known as AP2, this version was introduced after Tesla's partnership with Mobileye ended in 2016. It included an Nvidia Drive PX 2 computer and more cameras than the previous version. Hardware 3 Also known as Full Self-Driving Computer, this version was introduced in 2019 and included a custom "FSD Chip" designed by Tesla. The FSD Computer can process 2,300 frames per second, which is much faster than the 110 frames per second of Hardware 2.5. Tesla stopped installing radar sensors in new vehicles starting in 2021. Hardware 4 Tesla's most recent Autopilot hardware is Hardware 4, also known as AI4. This version includes a new FSD computer and an updated sensor suite, including a new front-facing camera with a wider field of view and higher resolution. The 2024 Model 3 has Hardware 4, while models from 2017-2023 have Hardware 3.
That backpack design looks like those cups from the 90’s
Design is definitely supposed to be a Dixie cup, good eye!
