I need to know what kind of gloves u used to remove the hose and tell me what kind of oil is applied before inserting the rubber hose

You can’t use gloves as it will burn you. When I did this we used bath towels. If you use gloves and get any of that lube on the glove, you can’t get your glove off before it burns you. Can’t remember the name of the lube. It’s been 12 years.

​@justanalias correct. No gloves. We don't even use towels. The new guys wear socks around their wrist to stop burns.
But barehands and if it's a monster hose for like a tractor or airplane or something, you might need a rope.
