Please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE and let me know where you're watching! I'm trying to grow this channel and shed a light on something that's often forgotten and extremely dangerous!
Please check out my website for my Quick Connect Periscope! It's the PERFECT product that replaces the flex hose connection and GETS THE MACHINE CLOSER TO THE WALL! Safer than ANY flex hose behind your dryer! No more fooling with connecting the dryer to the duct! No more lint leakage forcing you to dust constantly!

PLEASE LIKE, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE FOLKS!!! I'm trying to grow the channel however I'd much rather spread the word on the dangers of your dryer vent AND SAVE A LIFE!!! You subscribing helps get this message to more and more people!
Cleaning your dryer vent should be on your "to do" list regardless of if you own or rent your home! ESPECIALLY if your vent is run in a tight crawl space.

VERY NICE!!!!
GREAT VIDEO AGAIN!!!!
But shouldn’t the dryer itself be pulled out, taken apart and vacuumed as well?
Sometimes yes however it's typically not necessary. Thx for watching!
Nice work, Steve! Thanks for the shout-out on the anemometer. The CFM setting is good, but I like to use MPH because people can understand and relate to that a little better. Also, if you have to move a stackable unit, how do you do it? I hate those things, especially in a tight closet.
I'll try the MPH on the next one... And no, thank you! If I have to move a stack unit, I use a spray bottle filled with water and a bit of Dawn dish detergent... Spray it on the floor under the feet and you can typically make that joker skate across the floor! You da man!!!!!
@advsLLC Ah, okay, thanks for the tip. I will try it. There is something called an Airsled that works like a hovercraft to move machines, but they are around $800.
Bob's tha man!
@@HighSierraBob Yea, I've seen them being used just never needed one...... Especially for 8 Hondos!!! I can absolutely see the benefits though!
Hi, Wow that was a big difference when you clean it out. The pressure doubled. How often would you recommend getting it serviced? Stay Safe from a Tasmanian Fan ❤️🙏👍🤗
Cleaning intervals depend on the length of the duct as well as the number of people living in the home... As a general rule, the dryer vent should be cleaned every other year unless you have other factors that aren't the "normal" in a dryer vent. You stay safe too Tas!!!!
Not the pressure, the air speed.
Why don't people clean them themselves? U jus need a brush and air flow. These things cause so many house fires it's a wonder they're legal
@@lilmissteddy Absolutely! That's why I started this channel! It's not a very difficult job when you have the tools! 🤪
When you do multi-family units, do you knock on neighbors' doors and offer to clean their vents too?
Not normally as many neighborhoods in the Charlotte area are " no soliciting" so I don't want conflict... I do however tell the homeowner I'm currently at that their neighbors dryer vent needs attention... Typically, if you tell one person in the building that a neighbor's dryer vent is really bad, they'll convey the message for you plus act as a salesperson to help you get another job! GREAT QUESTION!!!!
I Love the camera angle where it looks like the lint is falling down/ on top of the camera, reminds me of a peaceful snowfall
I’ll make that a priority Quim!!
Check out my latest video Quim!❤❤❤
🤩
Love me some fluff! 💕
Some call it fluff, I call it job security!!! LOL
❤❤❤
Should be wearing safety glasses.. PPE .. U get that crap in ur eyes n it's not gonna be fun
Agreed.... I'm trying to get better, LOL!
NICE!
TY!
How many vents do you clean, on average, a week?
Typically I clean 10-15 per week however I also run new vents or retrofit vents in my "down time," LOL!!!
@@advsLLC that's great!
First!
👍👍😍😍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looks kinda like my place.
Do you use the dryer to push air out or do you use a blower or something behind the dryer to push air will running the brush
I typically use the dryer unless the blockage is too thick... The dryer blowing will keep the lint more manageable for cleaning up the mess afterwards. The blower pushes it out so fast, the lint goes EVERYWHERE! Thx for watching!
Yuck!
