Steve, those vents that run up the wall and then a long horizontal run to the termination are problematic. The air rises in the vertical duct and hits the 90 degree elbow where the air velocity gets slammed. Then, the reduced airflow has to try to push the lint out for another 15 or 20 feet, which doesn't work very well. I ran into one of these a few years ago and it was a nightmare and required attic access to disconnect the duct and remove a heavy wet clog. Heavy duty blower and vacuum wouldn't budge it. Not fun!

Where to you get the dyer vent cleaning cable? I’ve searched the internet and can’t find one that looks similar to yours, they all look light duty. Yours looks commercial grade.

Absolutely! In some situations, my brush will go through the entire vent however not on this one... That's why we ran the brush from both sides to make sure the entire vent was clean! Great eye!
