Well, if you notice... Angeal was not using full power, and not using buster sword too, he was using a 2nd class sword. And he stop the attack of the two
Don't know if he was too powerful like Sephiroth, but we know that Sephiroth fame was from media only, he is powerful and maybe the best, BUUUUT, I don't think angeal was this weak. He was worrying about the two everytime and don't think about be famous like Sephiroth.

@@sanadajehuty notice this. When Genesis attacked Angeal. Angeal didn't move. But when Sephiroth attacked him, even with the buster sword. It moved.

At this point Sephiroth greatly out-powers everyone.
"All hail Sephiroth, eh?" Angeal gives it away right there but Genesis is absolutely trying to overthrow Sephiroth in this fight, he's going *all* out! Angela is also using the majority of his power just trying to break up the fight but what really gets your attention us that Sephiroth isn't even really putting in half effort here, in my opinion. He's grinning and letting Genesis wear himself out , no grunts or sweat or even a facial expression indicating any strain or anxiety. Absolute calm and seemingly, without even elevating his heart rate.
I could go on and pick this battle apart peice by peice as I'm sure many Sephiroth experts could but I'll cut short and give my opinion and say.
Genesis was using 100% power.
Angela was at 90% -96% power and Sephiroth was using around 50% maybe kicked it up to 60% or so nullifying those fireballs and unleashing slash attacks that cut Junon's cannon in half..
Overall i agree- But sephiroth had some sort of reaction. It was a "gasp" at 2:04 .
@@erstonoutway7281 yeah there did seems to be a slight clench in his face, maybe this was the point he decided to kick it up. Even slightly increasing his efforts he immediately sends Genesis flying across the battlefield and Genesis from them on has one hell of a time keeping up with Sephiroth.
I believe if Angeal had not interfered Sephiroth would have very *quickly* overpowered Genesis.
Probably wouldn't have killed him but absolutely would have hurt him plenty
I'd say 30% to 40%
You need to just accept the fact that the developers even said there is no one who can match Sephiroth. He's never trying and he was holding back because he considered them his friends. In the earlier drafts of the game Sephiroth was actually going to kill Genesis but the loveless book saved his ass.
