I remember getting to this on my old phone. Proc’ing Enuma Elish every time caused my game to lag like crazy or straight up crash. So I kinda understand.

That scene with Tiamet hits me everytime, because it highlights the number 1 qualifier that makes a Beast a Beast. They all love humanity, but in a way that man doesn't, and can't, understand
And it actually came in handy in Heien-Kyo with Limbo, otherwise things mightve gotten bad.

Yeah they love and care about humanity, but those love and care is so twisted it leads to destruction and catastrophe.
I wouldn’t say that we cannot *understand* their love. Tiamat comes across to me as any mother going through ‘Empty Nest Syndrome’.
Rather, if that love were embraced, they would *accidentally* (sometimes intentionally), lead to the destruction or stagnation of humanity as a whole.
Case in point, had Tiamat prevailed in Babylonia, she would exterminate/mutate the entire human population across the globe into those Lahmu, and we would lose our humanity as a result of becoming her ideal little children. Therefore, humanity no longer exists; *BAD END*.
Love how Gil just deletes Tiamat form existence. That sound effect is and shall always be legendary.

I love how hyped everyone was when Gilgamesh entered the scene. And then they got more hyped when Gilgamesh summons Ea.
Literally the King of Heroes. If only he wasn't prideful and lazy he could've ended all 3 Fate Routes.
Doubtful about Heaven's Feel since Sakura would just vanquish Ea into imaginary space.
That is Gil authentic to his legends, before Enkidu he hardly took an interest in affairs looking down upon others with apathy. Then meeting Enkidu lit a spark in him and Gil essentially finally 'lived' having met and made a friend whom he could emphasize and bond with. The Gil of the three fate routes finds nobody worthy of his respect apart from Iskandar at his final charge, the Kotomine serves as an experiment in human psyche but certainly not a friend in a shared struggle. The Gil here lending one of his treasure blades is that fine demonstration of the 'living' Gil shod of that signature self absorbed pride having found himself invested and bonded with his allies in the long struggle.
In short there are two identities Gilgamesh can feature aside from Caster / Archer classing those being the Prideful lonely at the top king of Heros and the Hero King who stands proud with his friends at his side.

Basically, in Babylonia there's a stage where you have to fight WAVES of Ushiwakamaru (who's been corrupted by Tiamat), you fight three at a time and they spam their NPs, also use dodge. They a very annoying, exhausting and hard fight.

@@skychieftain Not summoning in the real sense, just a loop hole. When caster Gil dies as per mesopotamia rules, he descends to the underworld where the final battle was taking place.
He uses this to allow him to manifest his spirit in the archer form since they are in the same location (world of the dead)

Tiamat was very very misunderstood, and that ending hurts everytime I see it.
From all the Beasts Tiamat has the most Pure Goal. She is a mother that wants to be loved by her children. If Tiamat will ever get playable in Normal FGO I will Role for her.

Tiamat was honestly probably very well understood when she was first slain.
Removing her from the equation simply was the best option for life, as much as it pained her. She was even holding back when she first manifested in this battle, because while her instincts sought to birth life again as a mother she knew her existing children would be wiped out in the process. It was the Chaldea group nuking her brain that made things worse.
Children need to be able to fend for themselves and grow at some point. Tiamat understood that, rationally, she just wasn't emotionally okay with it and her function as a god did not allow her to do otherwise. Only those who love humanity in such a misguided fashion that they threaten it become Beasts, and her death was necessary no matter how unfortunate it was. Understanding her doesn't change the problem; she dies or we all do.

I jist realized the dagger Gilgamesh gave out was the one owned my Morgan Le Fey. It was supposed to used to seperate Gray's soul from her body to revive the King of Knights. It made an appearance in Case Files.

I went nuts the first time I saw this ep back when it came out. I loved Babylonia! This was one of my favorite Fate series, & favorite anime series I’ve seen overall. I love how Fate always has killer epic & intense affects, but also the most overwhelming intense sounds affects for the attacks! They make it seem as powerful & overpowering as the are meant to be & should be! The bass added to the massive attacks just really sell it as a whole. Gil’s EA to defeat her not only looked like the most powerful intense attack, it genuinely sounded like it too! I love how they made the sounds match the power. Fucking stellar!

Something that flies over a lot of heads is Gil just casually tossing Fujimaru that Rule Breaker looking dagger. Gilgamesh, especially in Fate, is a greedy motherf*cker. He will wield his weapons for his own purpose and never for another, the only time one touches his weapons is when it pierces their flesh. Even with all this, that he gives Fujimaru one of his weapons is unheard of and just goes to show how much respect the king has for him. It's only outdone by the gift Gil gives him later on...

When Gil talks about the ritual of separation, this is what he is talking about. Ea was used to dismember her. This was a repeat.

it was marduk using his axe to hack tiamats body apart which formed the continents while her blood formed the primordial sea of life on a up to that point barren lifeless world.
what gils np line refers to is a different god that seperated the heavens from the earth with a swing of his sword splitting the realm of gods from mortals.
gilgamesh somehow got his hands on that primordial weapon and named it ea.

1. Tiamat is the primordial sea. Not her blood lol. She is the manifestation of said sea. Remember, Gods (some) are physical manifestations of natural phenomena.
Tiamat is one such god. From the primordial sea (Sea of dawn) she manifested along her with husband. And there union created life.
This is why her other names are "Goddess of beginning" and "primordial sea"
So her dying shouldnt create the primordial sea from her blood lol. The sea already existed. She is a manifestation of it.
2. The world of mesopotamia is made up of 3 parts. Heavens, earth (world of man) and underworld. Gil said this in babylonia. So when tiamat says her body was used for world creation (read her bond CE) she is talking about how her body was cut up to create the mesopotamian world.
