Also, Shrou was able to use that power in the first place becuase he literally had the magic crest of one of the strongest mage families. And Gil was holding back, then he got attacked by the Holy Grail for mana and was off-guard from that.
love the end reference to ORT, which is basically an alien being from the Ort cloud cluster that came to end the human race because Earth's will said so.
While I prefer the Ufotable animation, I also loved this style. I was first scared they might mess some important moments, but they nailed it perfectly !
Loved the different styling for all of Gil's power, FGO NP animation, Babylonia, Fate Zero, and now here in Strange Fake. Ufotable still takes the crown but A-1 Pictures might as well be in 2nd place cause I think it was better than Cloverworks in Babylonia
No, at 10:05 it's at the clock tower implying that she's a competent mage. The girl at the end is, like most protagonist of the fate franchise, someone related to magecraft but no well versed in it. She does have some connections with a particular English teacher we see in other fate series. (For more information check the lightnovel, the manga or, if you don't mind some spoilers, the wiki)
Am I the only who's more interested in seeing people being confused at Zelretch scenes (Since he only had so little screentime in both Fate and Tsukihime series) than Gil vs Enkidu fight? Lol

Ikr. Pacing was all over, scenes don't have enough time to breathe, fight scenes were BS and important bits of information were skipped. The studio really didn't give a crap, and it shows.

Probably a few more but these are the ones I remember. And the pacing was terrible. It should have been 30 minutes longer to let the scenes breathe

The Gil Enkidu fight looked so fucking beautiful, I honestly might prefer A1 to Ufotable man Fate overall get's amazing animation.
