I mained narukami back in p4u and p4u2. Was my first real dive into a fighting game and he was a pretty good choice. When it comes out on steam I’m probably going to play junpei cuz he’s my fav character even if he’s actually the worst character in the game lol.
Shadow Junpei is at least be high-middle tier to high tier in 2.5.

Narukami is P4A was really fun to play, in P4U2 he was not fun since the oki was gone. It was too strong tho, so I can see why they removed it.
Project L has no main character, easy escape from this problem :D

What changes did he get in Ultimax? I hear about the memes about the command grab. But didn't know the full changes. Is there a vid showcasing Ultimax Narukami?
He lost air unblockable DP and sweep 5D so that vortex was dead.That said, he got a ton of other stuff so it hardly mattered.
Command grab, j.2B, Stinger super, 150 meter super that does too much, feint cancel on his overhead, air fireball (that's perfect speed to run behind), knockdown on any air hit and SB Cross Slash which let him confirm counter hit DP into 7K for some reason.

@@A_Mistake the last part is probably exaggerated, but everything else is pretty accurate. They also gave him a divekick (j2A) that beats option selecting.
I can make a comparison with Ragna the Bloodegde and Brimstone from Valorant, everyone used him at the start of Valorant, now no one uses him :)
