A week ago, I went to a top salon in my area and asked a “master stylist” for this cut on my one length long hair. The cut ended up costing me $65. I left with no layers in the front and very choppy ones in the back. There was no way I was going to go to another salon, so I decided to do it myself. I used a technique very similar to yours here (only difference is I over directed my front section to the opposite side) and I’ll just say that I will never go to a salon again. 🤣 I can’t believe how easy it is to give yourself a beautiful haircut at home.
After cutting my hair for the first time when I was 15 & absolutely loving the outcome I stopped going to the salon!! Saving a lot of bucks & loving the tips you gave will DEF try next trimming ❤️❤️❤️
I have been watching your old how to cut your own layers at home video for the entire of 2018....i follow that video to cut my hair every month at home....its so easy to follow along....thanks😍
tried this today. last 2 times i tried the "ponytail at the front of the head" method which just wasn't delivering layers where i wanted them and then the bottom layer was just too thin. i dont think that method works well for long thick hair. this really worked great even my husband complimented it. also love that the bottom layer is more straight as opposed to a strong V. thanks!

My hair used to be as long as yours and I used to pay $100 a l o n g time ago. So I could only imagine what it costs now. I’m currently growing out my hair color & going au natural. Once the color is grown out I’m growing it long again. Your hair vids are my long hair inspiration 🤍🖤
I always cut my own hair and do really well but last week I decided to try to thicken my fringe( bangs) I ended up cutting most of my fringe off , luckily it's just long enough to brush back and with hair spray it stays in place or I wouldn't be going outside till it grows back xx

My hair is the same lenght as yours & i trim my own at home as well. Saves you time & money when you do it yourself.
