I’ve never worked with fondant before, so how long would you recommend leaving it to dry, and how many days in advance would you make a cake topper for example?

Just the little things you do like shading and the creases on your animals make your cakes and your figurines wonderful I'd love to see a monkey because that's what I call my grandson and my granddaughter because they're all over the place all the time LOL I love watching your videos keep caking

I am planning to make the elephant topper and bow for my daughter’s birthday. Her bday is in three weeks. Can I make this topper and bow like a week in advance? And how do I store them?

TOO cute, how long would you recommend leaving it to dry, and how many days in advance would you make a cake topper for example?
Hi Marie, I usually leave them overnight to make sure they are fully set before adding them to the cake. You can make them quite far in advance if you need to. I always store them in a cool, dry place, or in a card board cake box if I have made them in advance. They keep really well, so you can even make them a few weeks in advance. I hope this helps and I hope you enjoy making him if you give him a try.

love your videos a ton! ive made 2 giraffes and 2 elephants so far, need to try the elephant! maybe a zebra and/or monkeywould be cool for the whole "wild' theme! hope my cakes and toppers look like yours one day! xx

Madam what is the exact ratio of gumpaste and fondant for making of madelling paste. Also we have to add tylose powder in it or not for making figures.

Hi, I haven't actually tried combining gumpaste with modelling chocolate before. I usually only combine it with fondant, maybe if anyone else has tried it?
