Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong with my gum paste as when I’m trying to roll it into a ball the creases and cracks just won’t go together. Am I using too much tree, cornflour and I’ve even tried spritzing it with water. Any help would be appreciated xxx

Hi Zoe me again can use any modelling paste/gum paste?
I have never made anything out of them paste, but I am going to attempt this elephant for a cake in December. Wondering if you can tell me the names of the tools that you used? I know that one of them was some sort of socket tool, and I think you called the other one a Dresden tool.
You should definitely give it a go! The Dresden tool sometimes is called a flower leaf shaper I think. Here is a list of the tools I use the most, I think you will find them all on there :) - zoesfancycakes.co.uk/collections/video-1-template

I'm guessing that I used a low grade fondant. My elephant began to sag, and the fondant cracked so quickly
