@CakesbyLynz is it necessary to mix fondant with gumpaste or we can use only gumpaste to make figures? And please tell me is sugar florist paste is also a gum paste and can be usd to make cake figures? Thank you. I hope you ll reply to me.
Hi Lynn! I love your tutorials, they're so helpful. I find my modeling paste tends to dry quickly, so when making indents or bends it begins to crack. Am I working too slowly?
Hi Christopher, one thing you could do is add a little more fondant, this way it will remain softer for a little longer. Also if you are using a pre-made modelling pastes some do dry quicker than others, so it might also just be that brand. If you have any modelling paste you are not using make sure this is kept wrapped in cling film or placed in an airtight bag or container as this will help it not dry out as fast. I hope this helps.

Hi Vendora, I'm so glad the tutorials have been helpful for your jungle themed cake. I always find breaking the models down into smaller sections really helps as it can be hard knowing where to start. So starting with the head, then the body and going from there.

Could you please make a monkey cake topper next. I made all three of your cake toppers so far and they are by far the best ones out of all the cake toppers I have made in there past. You are great at what you do and I love how you put the weight and the measurements which really helps us all. ❤️
Once the toppers have been made I usually just leave them in a cool, dry place and they will be fine. You just don't want them to get too hot (I actually just have him on a shelf in my kitchen now)

@@billiewilkinson5762 I don't actually think there will be that much difference as you want quite a light yellow for the giraffe whoch is what the lemon will give. The sunflower goes quite a deep yellow the more you add, so I think the lemon will just be lighter so similar to the smaller amount of the sunflower I added, so I think it should be absolutely fine and will be very similar.
