      No, it is. Being a Zepto n Blinkit customer ever since their own launches intact the Ola Dash I’ve used and many used them equally for good discounts, faster deliveries and quality of products. Ola Dash just couldn’t cut through because of lack of ordered items, delivering wrong items, missing items and the only good thing was NO DELIVERY FEE. Zepto is playing well with quite good offers but now they’re moving out from 8-10mins delivery to 15-25mins perhaps because of huge demand or scarcity of delivery boys. And sometimes lack of inventory as well. Blinkit started the game quite late when Zepto created strong dark stores and warehouses. So far Blinkit never ever threw good discounts or offers or maybe mega deal days. It is still long way for all these 10min grocery startups. Truly in metros the 10mins delivery is a lot and gaining momentum but needs to see at what cost.

    Grofers started everything..Their Packaging. Bags. Discounts. Freebies. Even their own brand Mother's Choice is of good quality. Now they have gone bonkers. Delivery fee is higher than others. On top of that a rush hour surcharge at times gets added on the bill. Now the Top spot in East Delhi is Bigbasket Now.
    P.S.edit: Condition became so bad that they were delivering orders without any carry bag. Every other is using paper bags nowadays. Blinkit name change was a bad idea. Along with Zomato they also got a thrashing from the public over the flash delivery idea risky for the delivery agents.
    Edit 2: I remember Grofers sending free colour packets for Holi which was such a nice surprise and gesture. free coke samples, free powerbars, peanuts and so many more which I can't remember back in the days. The name Grofers was their success. Now with Dunzo and Zepto coming up in Delhi, I don't know how will it be next.

    I find it funny that these startups believes that they can convert people into a habit of quick delivery of orders, when the funding will go away(they can raise money but there is limit of how much you can raise, sooner or later it will go away) & then delivery costs will increase discounts will be very minimal to zero, also remember India has value for money customers & nobody will pay higher chargers just for that sake of 10-15 min delivery because we are not a rich country everybody looks for alternative when the cost is higher than they used to pay for the same services.
    so in the end this bullshit model is not really sustainable(you can make fool of people by IPO scam but sooner or later retail investors will get more knowledge as they have already burned hands with zomato & paytm)
    Everybody is trying to solve problems but at the core the real problem is sustainability of any business model & nobody is trying to fix that.
    Also RBI has started the rate hikes let's see how much longer this shit show of this so called "Startups (Loss making scams)" lasts.

    They have changed names, were not taking orders. It was popular among buyers who rely on grocery needs with amazing discounts but they have changed the entire concept firstly renamed it secondly left no other option for the buyer to shift to another rival because of high surge and delivery charges on orders above 500-/ as well. Which is very unjustified, they should retain a similar pattern of delivery and provide an option to the buyer to receive orders in preferred time slot

Now the thing is we should understand the problems that we really need to solve.. Food delivery was happening since long time and at very big scale from companies like Domino's.. It was proven successful formula.. Only one app for almost all restaurants was needed.. Swiggy/Zomato did that.. Fact is the more country will develop.. More smaller issues will be given importance.. Like in India no one is taking Racism seriously.. Or Free education for all etc.. Because priority is to make at least India better in many other things first.. There are way more bigger issues to solve.. 10 minutes Grocery delivery is not at all necessary according to me.. As in all case people may need 1-2 things only in very urgent.. Whole lot of groceries are never that urgent.. So this 10 min thing is not long lasting.

    Excellent analysis wonderfully explained on the operational models of the startups.
    It is a very dangerous trend, the business model on which these startups are based without understanding the the business cycle leading to job losses in a short period and leading to frustration.

    Such a biased review 🤦‍♂️ i have been using blink it for months on! I have seen their ads and their delivery services are good too! But i have never heard of zepto, and this is a clear case of biased marketing, i don't like these type of youtubers as they can easily "kill" companies, with a simple title "Who killed grofers" you instantly state grofers, ie blinkit is a dead company which is wrong if a company is failing effects would be seen, their items would be less, their services would be less but I am seeing the same amount of services if not better! This is a clear marketing to zepto, he is just indirectly saying that zepto is better and blinkit is dead 😂 i can't believe people just fall for these types of fake youtubers, stop watching him and unsubscribe 😂

    • @pruthvirajreddy7868
      @pruthvirajreddy7868 2 года назад

      @KGFX I agree with your thoughts.
      Zepto is at 1st place in Mumbai City only in highest number of order deliveries.
      Where instamart has the lead in Chennai Bengaluru and Hyderabad..Dunzo is in lead in Pune City and blink it is in lead in NCR...
      It's a total biased video.. zepto have to beat instamart also the dunzo to reach the thoughts which are mentioned by him in this vdo

  • @Eswarr
    @Eswarr 2 года назад

    Well, same is gonna happen with zepto . They no longer deliver in 10 minutes and also quality of products is not good , most of the times they deliver wrong products . In meant section lucious is the best , their quality and customer service crushes down fresh to home & tender cuts . Right now fraazo is going good , they deliver promised fresh veggies but i feel they're going down .

    I stopped using Grofers/Blinkit coz choices were limited.
    Food ordering apps need to really get restaurants to refrain from home delivering stale/half cooked/unsatisfactory food otherwise they will loose their popularity too.

    Grocery deliver should focus on specific geography hyper local, work on low margin, high order value and lastly compete with dmart if u can’t give cheaper than dmart u will never increase ur order value. So focus on 10 to 15 KM market with high density of population and markets where zomato, Swiggy and Ola Uber doing well…Work on scale u can’t crack this model with ticket size of 400 to 500 minimum 1000 rupees order value is imperative

    Currently India has 100+ unicorns. Coincidentally the profits of these unicorns are also unicorns, in your imagination.
    Plus giants like Amazon and Flipkart are also entering into new segments like groceries with Amazon fresh and Flipkart grocery, so small startups have to suffer.

    Should have kept it as grofers and added 10 min delivery or let the customer decide whether he wants fast delivery or not ...there was no need of all this...most of this start up will reach saturation before they can make profits just like ola cabs
