@Brendan Whitley I can't believe they would give this guy a break. He is a habitual offender who has no respect whatsoever for the law. He was driving on a suspended license. How on earth was he not charged with that? As always, Michigan judges are way too lenient on dangerous drivers.
I had a case once where I stopped 11 motorcycles ( out of 30) traveling 100+ in a 55 mph zone. Our prosecutor offered everyone 80 in a 55, double points double fine but no suspensions….9 took the deal but 2 went to trial. After the first trial the judge asked me if the deal everyone else was given was still acceptable to me. “ well your honor respectfully, the deal was to avoid the aggravation of a trial, at this point we have had the trial….. “ so he gave the guy 10 days to serve on weekends, 6 month suspension and fines. He then called the next case and asked if he still wanted a trial….” No sir your honor, I want the deal!” It was a motorcycle club ( not an outlaw motorcycle club) and they had a web site. There were entire pages of what an ass I was but they stopped coming thru in triple digits.

I sprayed coffee through my nose at a dangerous angle….Judge Manning is AMAZING, glad she knows the YT game and even puts her live streams on, she deserves a show! Haven’t laughed out loud so often since discovering these on Mike’s channel. A true gem!
That whole clip, from the daughters telling their mom that the Judge will try to trip her up to Judge Manning throwing the papers, is my favorite Judge Manning clip, and one of my top five of all the clips I’ve seen. That’s high praise from me, given such classics as Judge Simpson’s, “That’d be a no,” to Judge Bryant declaring that the wheels of justice will roll the defendant right into the Wayne County jail. Then there’s Judge Bryant’s reminder that, “You are in the 36th District Court,” and Judge Middleton declaring to a repeat offender, “You can STOP DRIVING!” with his hand as a megaphone. I could go on, but you get the idea. P.S. You’ll want to rewatch the Judge Manning clip repeatedly, if only in order to watch the facial expressions of the court reporter and Miss Carlson. They just add to the excellence of that clip.
Here in Indianapolis they’ll do these huge roundups and then the bail is like $10.00. You have to prove that there is someone willing to come to the county courthouse and bail you out.
The first clip with Judge Manning was from last year. She used to remove the videos everyday but ever since the crazy Karen case from last week she has been keeping them up a little longer and even put a few old ones as well. I hope she keeps doing this because I can't always catch it when it is live, so many courtrooms so little time lol. A chatter in I think it was Finks court yesterday was there looking for a relative to be arraigned said are you guys all friends here waiting for someone and we said no we are here mostly for the entertainment and parts knowledge. She kept saying that she thinks it's crazy that we watch court for fun and I replied I would much rather watch this than Judge Judy or a reality show. Apparently there are thousands of us that need to get a life 🤪😏
I really want to know how many of the inmates in Bay county hear "step onto the red T, when the green light comes on, sign. Next!" and they write "next" instead of their name. 😄

That speeding case really bothered me. A few hundred in fines? And driving on a suspended license? Going at a dangerous speed? He obviously doesn't care; you could tell by how he leaned back and looked away while the judge was talking about the risks of speeding on the interstate. So there were really no consequences for him. So he'll do it again. And might kill someone. I'm really frustrated.
I totally agree with you!! Why in heavens name would you be helping him? It was blatantly stated that he has a terrible driving record😊 and license suspended. The judge should have thrown the book at him, jail time (even 10 days) and Double or triple the fines!!!!

Hi from Southern California. Loved the show and the discussion about your and John's actual legal work. As a commercial insurance underwriter I had peripheral involvement in claims, valuations and settlements. John's correct that when it comes to valuing a claim the insurance company is a stronger position, because the insurance contract itself defines valuation: Actual Cash Value, Replacement Cost, Agreed Value, Functional Replacement Cost, Unlimited Replacement Cost. If a policy only provides RC and the limit doesn't reflect the current RC then you're out of luck AND you'll also have a coinsurance penalty. I've been retired for more than three years and lookat that...I still remember this stuff.
I have been watching Judge Manning ever since you first showed her to us and I absolutely love her. She's no nonsense but also kind. I think you are the reason she's added so many subs over the last week. First speeding ticket punk should've taken the 4 point hit. He has no respect for the law or for the rest of us and I guarantee he's driving on his suspended license. Thanks Mike!
I like how they kept everyone far away from the kid with the grand theft, huge history, upcoming breaking and entering, and hurting small animals. “Yeah you dangerous, 10 ft rule”
Speeding tickets for some of these states are so low compared to South Carolina. 25 or over is considered reckless driving and they can take you to jail if they want. I got a $250 ticket bc one of the lights shining on my license plate was out. As if that’s something I check every day before I start driving. 🙄 I asked him - could you not see my license plate with your headlights since you were behind me? He gave me another ticket for $275 bc one of the bolts holding my plate on was missing. Tried to give me another ticket for speeding 5 miles over the limit but I told him nope, I was not even speeding at all bc I had been accelerating from a turn so don’t try it…and he didn’t. I got it all dropped the next day after replacing the light and installing a bolt and then he got fired bc he had a long history of frivolous tickets and in general being a nuisance.

1:20:36 I absolutely love this man. I legitimately teared-up with happy tears when he said that his absolute favorite thing to do is spend his evenings with his family- either watching television, or helping his daughter with her projects. This is the prototype for A Good Guy.
Still think Magistrate Fink, when a hearing goes weird, mentioning it will no doubt on OSG's channel, then saying that he should put it up, is better than LTWM being called out here lol.
Just when I thought there was nothing new to explore on The RUclipss, I find the gem of a page. This is a great break from police interrogations. New Subscriber for sure!!! PS: I love and I'm extremely terrified of this Judge lol.
Right at the end, you mentioned when Alisa came on, after the trial. She was an absolute delight! So sunny and bright, and so pleasant and happy! She responded to the message I left on that video, and I was thrilled. She is a one-in-a-million kind of woman, and I was so happy to see her looking so beautiful and excited about what she's doing, and her family, and how they're all doing. It was fantastic Mike. Thank you again for bringing her on the channel, and thank you to John for going to the courthouse!! It made it more fun to watch, knowing he was there, along with Rob, and Ian.
I just started watching court videos this week: wow! Entertaining, frustrating, informative, but, overall eye opening to a few of the court procedures that I have no experience in.
Started watching these VODs, saw you liked a comment I left on one of the others. I appreciate that, and because of that, and because you're in my neighbor-state, I subbed. :)
Judge Manning is unbelievable. She sees the most of the crazy people on a regular basis. This clip demonstrates why she needs to yell, say shut up and get their attention. They are just rude, out in left field, talking over the top of each other, lying, etc Love you Judge ! You’re awesome .
After seeing this one, I wish she was in WI and the Darrell Brooks was in her courtroom. Just imagine 😮😂 She would have (hypothetically) thrown him in a wood chipper!
Not true at all! Nothing said by those poor children and mother warranted her to yell like that. I honestly feel so bad for them because people are misunderstanding their conversation and the context entirely. This happened during a BREAK in trial at which point members can mute and turn off their camera. They were not interrupting anything, so they were not being rude. Even then, I did not hear them lying. In my opinion they were just trying to help their mom in some way as most daughters would try to do. Regardless whatever they said must not have been a lie because what motivation would they have to lie, especially when they think no one is listening? Also, based on the case what did the daughters even need to lie about? In all honesty I don't think their interaction warranted the Judge's yelling nor should have impacted the case's judgement in any way. Unfortunately, her lawyer seemed useless in defending her. The entire case and verdict was really off....and the Judge honestly seemed to want to cover up something being said or use it as an excuse otherwise why would she yell like that? After this the Judge rushed the verdict using this as an excuse, but I really don't understand her ruling nor think it was just for the mother because the conversation had no impact to the case. Why is it acceptable for a Judge to scream at a mother just because she spoke to her kids (mind you the mother initially asked the kids to leave the room before this clip)? I really don't understand how viewers find this acceptable either or why the host found this funny. It was heartbreaking for me to watch.
I’m not completely comfortable stating this on RUclips, but I have been suffering from severe major depression since November 2018, and I can honestly say I have laughed more in this past week from watching these court videos than I have in quite some time. Thank you too people like Mike and others who put up these videos. It is appreciated, truly. 🥹

Really enjoyed this one, caught on replay. Thoughtful, knowledgeable panel for the law nerding, and some bonus awesome Judge Shelton. Thanks. 💖
"I'd like to get points reduced, because it's a lot of points at this point."
There is an easy way to not get as many points on your licence.
Stop breaking traffic laws.
1:20:36 I absolutely love this man. I legitimately teared-up with happy tears when he said that his absolute favorite thing to do is spend his evenings with his family- either watching television, or helping his daughter with her projects.
This is the prototype for A Good Guy.
I was driving while listening to the Judge Manning case. I had to pull over to watch that fiasco.
😂
That was really fun! That Florida court call was like a human grinder- is that where they make soylent green? lol
Still think Magistrate Fink, when a hearing goes weird, mentioning it will no doubt on OSG's channel, then saying that he should put it up, is better than LTWM being called out here lol.
👍
Just when I thought there was nothing new to explore on The RUclipss, I find the gem of a page. This is a great break from police interrogations. New Subscriber for sure!!! PS: I love and I'm extremely terrified of this Judge lol.
Thank You
“Absolutely keep it on the record” hahahaha. Hold them accountable!
I can't make out what they said...do you remember?
Right at the end, you mentioned when Alisa came on, after the trial. She was an absolute delight! So sunny and bright, and so pleasant and happy! She responded to the message I left on that video, and I was thrilled. She is a one-in-a-million kind of woman, and I was so happy to see her looking so beautiful and excited about what she's doing, and her family, and how they're all doing. It was fantastic Mike. Thank you again for bringing her on the channel, and thank you to John for going to the courthouse!! It made it more fun to watch, knowing he was there, along with Rob, and Ian.
Runkel of the Bailey looks like Law and Lumber Rob! Ying and Yang!!
Cheers Mike and fellow law nerds! Late Happy Hour here in Gold Beach OR! 🥂
I just started watching court videos this week: wow! Entertaining, frustrating, informative, but, overall eye opening to a few of the court procedures that I have no experience in.
This Adam Bozich kid just graduated high school and will not have a license for quite awhile now. Good way to start off your adult life.
If Adam, the way he drives, even lives to see adulthood!
Holy shit I thought the judge had a prosthetic arm and I was amazed on how great he could count and how real the hand and fingers looked hahahaha
This is Judge Vann in rare form trust me. He's a very narracistic, holier-than-thou type guy.
Started watching these VODs, saw you liked a comment I left on one of the others. I appreciate that, and because of that, and because you're in my neighbor-state, I subbed. :)
Thank You
So I think even criminals in Canada are polite and are responsible to come to court….❤️
I could listen to John and Mike talk about cases all night long!
Judge Manning is unbelievable. She sees the most of the crazy people on a regular basis. This clip demonstrates why she needs to yell, say shut up and get their attention. They are just rude, out in left field, talking over the top of each other, lying, etc
Love you Judge !
😂 I took up powerlifting in my late 60s. My grandsons tell their friends “my grandma can beat up your grandma.”
The judge from Texas is just happy he can finally fulfil his fantasy of being a RUclipsr/Streamer 😂
2:17 They deserved to be called out! I was crying laughing! 😂😂😂Instead of doing all that screaming, why not make these ppl appear in person? 😭🤯😂
Law Talk is getting more famous all the time! What did we do to deserve a 2 hour stream?
🤩
I don't know what you all did, but I bribed the doggies. 😆 😆🐕🐩🐕🦺🐶🐾
@@debbie4503perfect ploy! Talk to the bosses!!!!!!!
Your giggle makes me laugh 😃 🙃 I know this is older, but I like these older.. less jaded/giggly responses😁😆😆😆😆😆
"Why did he have to go that fast?"... Because you had a 90+mph head start!!! "Stop breaking the law, a**hole!"
Literally spit my water out upon hearing "he could have pulled me over when I was going 90..." 🤣🤣🤣
The Q &A with the judge was so wholesome!
Runkie was on point!! I loved everything he input especially about America's laws and apparent love for cash for bail system. It was interesting to learn the stark parallels between the countries' laws.
I want to see more of Judge Manning, gosh i love her!!! lol.... Thanks Mike as always you did good!
Thank You
@18:19 Mike, you stepped on Mr. Bozich’s excellent comment. “Officer, you’re dismissed”. After all of his douchery, that was the chef’s kiss.
We need more of Judge Manning
🤩
I love Judge Shelton! ❤ I lived in Odessa for a few years in the 90’s.
Love Judge Manning. She is a straight talker.
👍
Or a straight shooter!!😉🤭😍😍😍
She said, “I got this.” 😂😂😂😂 I love Judge Manning SO MUCH.
I started watching her the other day... Then it turned in to watching her entire call... 4 hours - almost daily...
