Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Project | Topcon

As part of the recent Topcon Technical Xperience training event in Livermore, Topcon sponsored a Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley Playhouse Build. Habitat for Humanity is a global organization operating in 70 countries.
Over 160 participants - representing 42 Topcon dealers from all over the world - split into groups to build 16 playhouses to donate to local families.
The exclusive training event took place at the John D. Dice Training Center. Attendees spent several days learning about the latest in advanced construction technology, and at the end of the training, they all got the chance to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
The Playhouse Program has grown from building 20 playhouses in 2009, to a major operation that has donated over 500 playhouses and raised over a million dollars in a single year - critical funding that expands access to affordable home-ownership in one of the country’s most expensive housing markets.
