I do fucking love art cards, and hated that they were only on set boosters as I love playing limited formats. I understand that they don't have any value but I fell in love with this game becouse of the art work, and having these cards that gives us a full version of the art really makes me happy haha

I like the art cards, but I can agree they're not necessary.

I attended a couple of prerelease events and enjoyed playing with these. The “list” cards also synergized well. My only criticism was maybe getting tokens instead of the art cards.
    I don’t understand your hate 😅

I understand it, the extra rares do not add any value to the packs and taking away the extended list and commander cards hurts. This is a poor start to play boosters, more list cards, commander cards and special guest that are chase able are needed. The rare lands are only in the wildcard spots. Play boosters are more expensive, unwarranted, draft boosters. Personally I was not a fan of set, however my local used them as prize support of all events. Opening them for list and commander cards was my sole reason to do so. The Theros set boosters had Go-Shintai, which I was luckily opened. So play boosters need to be Set boosters that you can draft with not what we have been given.
I attended the pre-release and the set is fine, maybe on the agro side which I like, and I hated opening the play boosters.

They need to have real artist signatures on art cards like sports cards to make them worth something

This box wasn’t too bad nice pull on Field of the dead ! Have a good one. I sometimes use the art cards as proxies lol but id rather another common or a guaranteed token rather than art card

I know a lot of people don’t like the art cards but a lot of people myself included bought set boosters for the art cards specifically. It is a disappointment.
All the useless paper aside- there seems to be a systemic deconstruction of magic as we know it. The wokies destroy everything they own.

    No art cards

The play booster does serve to make more money for WotC/Hasbro, there's no doubt it is a business decision. But I think it is helpful for LGS's especially smaller stores, who had trouble moving draft boosters. Nobody bought draft boosters other than for limited events, and smaller stores have trouble filling those events. Play Boosters smooth that out, only have to buy them and collector's.

I actually liked the art cards but now you don't get nearly as many... it's a lose-lose for those who do and don't like them. I don't want to buy play boosters, and I did buy set boosters pretty often.

IMO, the Play Boosters are fun for a draft experience. but by comparison to Set Boosters, they are a clear step down. If your building a collection, Play Boosters (and Draft Boosters) provide WAY too many commons and uncommons.

We sell them for $129.94 a box at the store, we are shipping yet though, still have a ton of sorting to do before we can launch our website.

You should buy some mid-higher tier reserved list cards and some revised dual lands instead of "play boosters" that was rough thanks WOTC 💩

the land cycle is insanely op in modern and other formats… please stop crying about the set, and the only reason your complaining about the play boosters is because you think the set in general is weak which it is not if your an actual magic player and not just a pack ripper

In Australia we are paying roughly $10 a pack, draft packs were around $7. Play boosters need to be closer to Set than Draft boosters.

      Back in the day?
You mean before 1999? Because that’s when legacy came out with pack foil cards. And it could be a rare and normal rare. It was extremely unlikely but it was possible.
