Great box. It seems there is a Japanese showcase in every box. SPG, fractured foils and etched foils are additional when you luck into them it seems. Out of 5 boxes I got 3 SPG cards and 1 fractured foil. Each box also had a Japanese anime card.

Recently a friend and I each bought a play booster box to open together. Both boxes had only 3 mythics!!! I will NEVER buy another box of mtg again.

I got the english version of that fractured overlordr of the boilerbilges as well as an english anime foil version in the same box. Seems there is one anime foil in every box, sometimes 2. If you get a fractured foil you also get another anime foil too. These boxes are soooo fun! 🎉😊

Opened my 5th box yesterday. Finally got Valgavoth, 2 of them, one pack foil one double exposure foil. Still no overlord of the mistmores!

I didn't pull ANY foils out of my mb2 box. I did pull a textured jeweled lotus out of my collection pack though. It was the only thing that saved the purchase.

I know they arent playable but I love the playtest cards. They're so funny

The bans themselves were good. The cards were overpriced and design mistakes. The fact they did it all at once if kinda crazy. I don’t blame the RC. I blame wotc for letting the cards get that expensive without enough reprints

I agree. I am fortunate enough to be able to afford and play high end cards. That being said I only play with people the enjoy high power. I think wizards messed up by shaking the trust of the 20% who make up 80% of the profit. I can understand why they made the decision but they didn't account for the high power players. I know my budget in a month is bigger then most of what a team is causal player spend in the year. I have lost faith in chasing high end and powerful cards. For the time I had quit spending with Wotc.

I agree with you. It does seem this is highlighting a real need for separation between casual and competitive edh. WOTC are also goung to want to avoid something like this again impacting demand for future product. This ban was enough of a shock for me to start thinning out my collection - not the banned cards but other EDH staples that could get banned in future. I’m sure I can manage 4 good commander decks with the best cards instead of 12! 🤓.
