My touch screen is so unresponsive is that I can’t even swipe the off. Stick the phone in the freezer until the phone automatically shuts off. I think it kills the battery. Then you have to recharge the phone and it turns back on and works fine again. Next week I’ll buy a new phone but until the freezer it is.

All of a sudden my touch screen locked. Unfortunately, I also use a passcode so the method of holding the side button until it completely turns off won't work because it wants my passcode. Reading other issues, yes it has been in water a month or so back which I lost the face recognition and that's why I used a passcode to unlock the screen. It also has been out of memory so I do keep cleaning up unneeded files but I store a lot of photos on it. Do you have any other suggestions? I may just wait until it dies on it's own to see if it'll come back on and allow touchscreen again.

My Iphone screen does not respond whenever there is a screen protector on it(it only happens when am playing game). It works perfectly fine while am not playing game So, am confident if its the games that is having issues or my phone. I’m using iphone12 pro
this is pretty silly considering the issue is an unresponsive touch screen so how do you expect to use the touch screen by sliding the slider. It doesn't make any sense. Obviously these comments are fake. Of course this won't work. The issue is the touch screen so the solution can't be using the touch screen cause thats the very issue that needs fixed. For some users, the touch screen just doesn't work intermittently. That way, they can still use the screen for a few seconds or minutes. You can try the methods without touching the screen in this video.

If even the factory reset is not working, it might be a problem with the hardware. Go to the repair store near you to have it fixed.
