I need help , mine fall on the floor very hard. So from the top left corner to left down side doesn’t work anymore but the right side of the screen works
I need help because the issue with my phone as a small portion of it is unresponsive when I touch it and everything else is responding, but I can’t access any of the apps or move anything when I’m on that side trying to do stuff

The problem im having is that my phone wont respond to touch in the middle of the screen so i cant put my password in to unlock it. I tried force resetting it 2-3 times but it didnt work. i went to the websites to try to see if maybe i could make it do the forgot passcode method to just try to open my phone without doing the recovery mode but it says i have to use my email but i cant get into my email because its connected to my phone. and for the recovery mode method im on pc and when i plug my phone in the computer port it charges and everything but im nervous to put it in recovery mode and then dont see the options which means i would be stuck in recovery mode. please help i woke up to it doing this!.

Yes, doing a factory reset will delete everything on your phone and bring it back to factory default.

Yes, you can do the update or restore with a Windows laptop through iTunes.
