This was my first pair of skis and I'd say are great for a beginner! The problem begins when you start to ski fast on them they really shudder a lot. To the point you really don't feel very stable 30+ mph

Yeah definitely a little softer, beginner/intermediate style ski. Going to want a little stiffer ski to handle high speeds.
