The electroacoustic guitar sounds like Eldritch's Fender El Rio and this style of bass playing resembles "Wide receiver" or "Torch", which bass lines were also played by Eldritch. I think it's his demo for "Left on Mission and Revenge" album.
As with original poster, I also saw this listed as the Sisters in amongst other Floodland demo bootlegs. On the ones I had it was actually called Neverland (although of course it sounds nothing like Neverland). The bass line is heading towards Driven Like the Snow / Lucretia (if you're actually playing the line, it's v similar playing style). Drums sound like the Doktor. The "chorus" strumming (just before fingerpicking resumes) is heading towards I Was Wrong (granted that's Vision Thing not Floodland...). And if 1959 hadn't been on the album & we heard an "unreleased instrumental demo" of that, we'd have all been claiming that wasn't the Sisters either. My money's on it being the Sisters.
Agreed; the instrumentation and bassline are likewise reminiscent of those in Torch, and the arpeggiated chords, of Bury Me Deep. Eldritch composed both of those songs. Maybe this would've been the direction of "Left On Mission And Revenge", for which Torch was originally written? I also wonder if this demo surfaced anywhere before Vision Thing was released, as the I Was Wrong parallels would confirm its authenticity then.
Are you certain? I'm not sure where this came from originally, but it was included with the rest of the Floodland demos on the "Acoustics From The Beehive" bootleg at least as early as '92.
@@emilewicz14 Thanks. I had no idea he played so well. But I can tell he doesn’t use a pick w those long fingernails on the right hand and since you hear each distinct note. Guitar finger picking style is a very difficult skill to master. Even most pros still use a pick. 🎸

It's a track from Kill the Lights. Wish I hadn't sold the vinyl. Beautiful tune. And definitely the Sisters.

no doubt its sisters
but nothing from this was used on " i was wrong " that song is 100% stolen from lynyrd skynyrd - searching well except the lyrics
This would fit in with a Silent Hill game.
Akira Yamaoka takes alot of influence from gothic rock and grunge

Sounds Like The Sisters same feel anyway wonder if this was what was going to be called Pillow Talk??
If this is Eldritch, those acoustic guitars are very Trespass - Genesis sounding, the chords he chose. Almost like Stagnation or Looking for Someone
pre-torch version
One of the best Eldritch'es ever 👁
A mais bela -e plácida- canção instrumental do TSoM!
Kenny G ?
IS AN FIRST AND LAST AND ALWAYS DEMO
If that is him playing guitar; he is VERY good player and doesn’t need a rhythm guitarist 🎸🎸🎸
Gary Marx once said that before Hussey, Eldritch was the best guitarist in the band.

Nice but doesn't sound at all like The Sisters.
Not The Sisters. Obviously.
