Perfect buddy, thanks. Just a reminder to use alkaline (non rechargeable) batteries. The ones in the video are not. When my wife and I bought this lock, we initially picked up the ones in your video, but after reading the box, we put them back and got alkaline. Thanks for perfect instructions, and clear close up video.
Great video! Clear, slow, and closeups were great. My husband installed our front door lock and handle and it needed lots of adjustments (not because of him, but because of the door). So, while he is deer hunting, I installed this deadbolt on our garage door. Easily with your video (the instructions that came with it were good as well but videos are great). 👍
UPDATE I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow. I just installed my second electronic deadbolt per your instructions. I am happy to report that while it took one hour to install the first one, it only took 30 minutes for the second. 👍🏻
Thanks for the video! I just used this video to help install this electric deadbolt on my front door today and everything went smoothly, it was a big help!
Awesome and easy to understand video. So clear were your instructions, I might even try to install this myself. Love that your video was short and sweet and to the point. Have drill, will do. :)
I have an E-lock on my shop door that the batteries were dead one time. I put new batts in it and the same code worked. So hopefully, this lock works the same way.
Yo, Phil and hope yall are doing well and not washed away. We got over 7 inches this time and 5 the last time. Oh well. Such as it is in mountain tropics! We're exceedingly goofy here but trying to dry out a bit. More than likely won't make it for a while but such is the way it is. That's a nice lock but I'd forget the numbers and loose the blasted key. Thanks, Buddy and yall be calm and GBWYall!
Hopefully our rain is coming today! So dry here. Temps are going to drop pretty low this week too. Pulled my peppers out of the garden last night and stacked some firewood in the shop. I'm ready for deer season now. Have a great Lord's Day, Lewie!
@@PhilCrockett Hope you got your rain and will fill the freezer. And we can thank our Maker all the time for His Blessings! A Jesus weekend to all yall 2!
Very helpful - thank you! Question though… I have to enter my new 4 digit passcode and then hit the middle lock button to unlock the door from the outside but is there a way to get the door to unlock WITHOUT having to hit the middle lock button after entering my 4 digit passcode?
Hi! When I opened the package the lock on the interior assembly moved smoothly. Somehow while setting it up, it started “sticking” halfway thru the turn. It will still allow me to turn it but with more force than necessary. Any ideas on how to reset this? I have changed batteries, reset several times and still can’t get it to go back to moving smoothly.
I can't get past step 6B. I put in the Master code and it will give me the successful beep and green lights, but will give me three red beeps when I hit the lock button directly afterward like the instructions say
Coding doesn't seem very secure. For example what is the difference between code 1357 and 2468. It seems a random pattern will eventually unlock the door, especially if someone sees your pattern. Am I understanding this correctly?
You are understanding the power of statistics and repetition. The funniest thing about exterior locks is the fact that people have windows all around their house. IOW: Like my Dad use to say.....: "locks keep the honest people out"

Very detail about the installation, I think I will be able to do it. Thanks very much. BTW, do you have a code changing video for lazy people?
Not yet

Julie!!! YOU CAN DO THIS! If I can do it, you can do it! Let me know how it went.
You made it look easy Phil. When the batteries need to be changed do you have to reprogram the pass number again?
I have an E-lock on my shop door that the batteries were dead one time. I put new batts in it and the same code worked. So hopefully, this lock works the same way.

Can you make it beep when someone enters door without code. As an alert someone entered while unlocked
This model does not offer that option, unfortunately. Good question!

I really don't know. I have not had this problem. Maybe someone else here can help???
Maybe don’t tighten up screws too hard. If it won’t help call your local locksmith
I'm having the same problem
@@msjmid6819 me too ;(( did you find the solution?
I can't get past step 6B. I put in the Master code and it will give me the successful beep and green lights, but will give me three red beeps when I hit the lock button directly afterward like the instructions say
Probably best to reset it and start over.
How about directions?
My door is opposite then yours.
How do I fix that ?
hmmmm.... The lock should've come with instructions. However, that is a really good question.
Why does mine only work when it's in the lock position?
not sure
@@PhilCrockett thanks. I think its only right handed door knobs actually.
once we got to the 0000 and lock button nothing happened, i reset it twice
Not sure why? did you try cussing while doing it? jk. I had a lock one time that didn't cooperate too.

TY bro, lost the programming instructions!
ya.....the instructions are awful anyways,,,,,
What the hell is a "torque blade"?
That's what it's called.
Won’t work for me :/ idk
Not sure why but maybe try again.
Installing it was easy. Now I can’t take the damn thing off which is how I ended up here.
darn!
@@PhilCrockett got it figured out. Just needed a little bit of force and wiggling.
good to know!
Do not install the batteries until after you have the lock mounted!!
ok
👍
Glad you liked my vid, my friend!
Didn’t work
hmmm...... made the batteries are not in the right orientation. I do that once in a while.
