- Amazing Japanese vegan food at Aeeen (Neo Shokudo) Restaurant in Chiang Mai!
How to eat Mangosteen: • How To Eat MANGOSTEEN!...
CHIANG MAI, THAILAND - Located in Chiang Mai, Aeeen is a Japanese vegan restaurant that specializes in all things fermentation and soy - like koji and tofu and dozens of sauces and condiments. Their full meals are delicious, refreshing, and full of enzymes and good bacteria. Today we’re going to order a bunch of Japanese food!
I started with a mango enzyme drink, with a little fermentation and carbonation. It was similar to a kombucha but without the tea fermentation it was less sweet and not as much flavor - more like a light carbonated fruit water.
From there we ordered all sorts of Japanese food dishes from tofu salad to fresh tofu to a Japanese hamburg made from tempe to, what turned out to be the highlight dish for me; charcoal hemp udon in a miso sauce.
The food is outstanding and you can taste the care and the passion that goes into their cooking and the integrity of their ingredients.
Highly recommended whether you typically eat plant based or not, it’s delicious!

Love the focus on local ingredients. Fresher vegetables, keeps money local, supports family farms. Thanks Mark

@@NazriB I don’t know what that means
@@NazriB Hello
Hemp noodles 👍😉 food looks delicious and fresh, clean food clean heart and mind, bless up one love. ☺🙏🧘🌠☄🔥
Nom nom 😋 looked super delicious 😋 I also thought the location was super nice, cool that they built the tree into the floor and didn't cut it down, it tastes 1000 times better that way 😌
For sure, focusing on local, fresh ingredients, and fermentation, great food!
Thank You :) for each video. Makes me gain so much information and a good habit to appreciate every single food item on this channel. Although vegetarian, I sometimes think of respecting meat dishes as they come from cultures, situations and creativity, because of watching you respect them all.
Thank you very much!
I love japanese food over all other dishes in the world. Just yum. Hats off to the japanese for thier balanced meals. The tastes are always amazing, and never heavy on the stomach.

Really appreciate it Connie, thank you!
Wow! Very nice Japanese foods you ate this time! It looks really delicious. Thank you for your sharing
I just discovered this channel. Love your content!
industrial hemp, is a botanical class of Cannabis sativa cultivars grown specifically for industrial or medicinal use. It can be used to make a wide range of products. Along with bamboo, hemp is among the fastest growing plants on Earth. And you probably use it everyday that's why you eat the way you do. Charcoal hemp is dark in color used as toothpaste facemask and so forth
Your tummy is smiling and so am I. A plant lovers dream. I would love to go there.
Looks SOooo good! I've been to a lot of good Japanese restaurants in Chiang Mai but, never knew about this!! Thanks!
I wish I could eat there every day... SO HEALTHY !! Thank you so much for sharing this !
Lovely video and I can only imagine how good the real food tasted. I lived in Japan for 9 months yrs ago and could never get enough of the local foods. We bought and ate a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. I can only hope more places like this, all natural will open across America! Thank you Mark for sharing the video.
Very cool to hear that Betty. Japanese really excel at quality and complete experience - how atmosphere even affects the experience.
Hello
Get it Mark🤗 thank you so much for these videos !!!!
u know the carbs and veg are good when mark reacts like this… these reactions are usually reserved for dishes with meat in it.
I’m trying always be happy like you especially going thru hard times 🙏🏽💪🏽
Amazing, totally different types of food and ingredients
Mark ever video you make I just loved. All the food looks beautiful made. Just the freshness of the food. I loved tofu. I just loved the bright colors. Thank you so much for sharing your videos ❤️.
The Worcestershire sauce did it for me. One of my absolute flavouring staples. Thanks Mark!
To everyone who sees this comment, keep pushing in life and never give up. Can't wait to see you successful one day and May God bless you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It looks very healthy menus there. I just wonder how Micah copes with all the different foods that you meet with as a family, and what does Micah prefer to eat when you go to restaurants, and or do they provide special meals for children?
Thank you
I have often wondered about that but I know they order things just for Ying and Micah. Can't imagine he can handle chillies much yet though my niece has been eating them since a toddler.
Thank you very much. Micah does well - like for instance here he ate a bowl of noodles as well, and loved them. But it all depends, sometime we may order separately (and I don't always show what they ordered / ate) or sometimes Micah and Ying might even eat before we film. Just all depends everyday.
I love this family Micah has gotten so big
Looks spectacular and great descriptions!
I am so happy I found this link in your other page ♥️♥️
Agree with what you said about Japan. You always said when you were in Japan...they focus on the natural flavor of good ingredients

Amazing food aventure by Mr Mark Wiens!
I'm a new sub. Really enjoy your video's. Hello from Nashville.Tn
I absolutely love your videos..they are so awesome 💖
This is my recommendation any day anybody wants to feel good or watch something positive and excellent awesome try this channel..😻🌹❤️
This video is super clear!!! Yay!!!
Mark Wiens, tell those people their site is all in Thai and if they made an online site where they sold their sauces people like me would order them. Gluten free soy sauces (especially ones with hemp) and gluten free natto are very difficult to find in the USA, I have ordered sauces like that from Japan online that were very expensive and made my own natto because it's hard to get decent ones that are gluten free without paying top dollar. They could have a side business selling their sauces to people like me online, and you could get a little commission with a sponsored link or something. Do this, you and other food sloggers do not realize that sometimes people want to try things you guys eat and have a hard time ordering them which is why I have identified plants you ate and brands of food you ate for your fans and other RUclipsrs, it's because when I myself wanted to try something and had a hard time I saw other commenters having similar issues and realized I was one of the many. Please follow this advice!
It’s as if I was watching a love story. The love Mark displays with his food is amazing. I pictured myself the other day as if I was Mark filming an episode, I couldn’t so many thoughts and emotions with the surroundings. But, yes he definitely has encouraged my love and view for food! Way to go “Red Hot Chili Pepper” 🌶 🌶 🌶
Thank you very much David!
@@BigOnSpiceMarkWiens stop talking with your mouth full, its gross asf!
Looks very delicious. Wish I could try. Bless you guys.☮️☮️
Bare fantastisk, Mark, glimrende på alle måter og plan, tommelen opp igjen, så fortsett den gode innsatsen og må familien Wiens kun ha det beste livet kan by på fremover til evig tid.

Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 😊
저는 이 채널을 너무 너무 사랑합니다♥ 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷
In my opinion, the word "Homemade" gets missed used so many times in this episode; and that is not just from Mark. The restaurant also missed used the word "Homemade." Do you see the irony here? I think the word made from scratch is more appropriate. Anyway, as always, thanks for the video Mark.
Never had Tofu; but, the salad looks good and the noodles look a bit interesting; but, I'd try so; some very nice and healthy 👀 looking plates of Japanese food amongst the table that I've never had, but would try. 👌
You know Mark smoke that Thai Stick! 🌿🌿🌿
Enjoyed
Mark you need to try my sisters shop in Nontumburi if your ever in the area. I will send the details if you are over that way.😀
If veg food is done well it is worth it

Hey Mark! I recently moved to Arizona and the biggest downfall is the Asian food. I know you’re familiar with the Phoenix area. Any recommendations for some good Asian food.
If you know & understand you know I have to Do Me right NOW.
Love it.

Hi mark when are you coming to USA in Washington state willing to meet you
Beautiful Mark like always 👋 Ying and Micah good morning from Rhode Island 💋 9 am
that's a pretty niche restaurant wow.
Hello Mark, here I am again, nice video again, but please, do something about the eatingsound, not a pleasant sound when watching your video.
Man went today, closed today and tomorrow: ( hopefully visit Wednesday.
It was more then that they keep returning it. Don’t forget to Press rewind it’s kind. That light outage didn’t stop nothing. Carry on. I’m just saying. Slow where. I know a lot.
The sauce are made with carrots and other ingredients. They are not misso sauce. I know how they are made. Pretty much same concept when you make Korean KimChi. Japan take all these ingredients saucees from other cultures and combine in their style of taste.
What a lot of people do in groups. A lot of people do independently.
